I don't know what the developer of this shopping center has against disabled people in those pushing strollers, Etc. But it really shows in the poor design.
First of all, if you're taking public transit to this place you take your life into your own hands trying to cross the parking lot that has no sidewalks or other designated pedestrian path.
Second, if you drive yourself and park in a handicap parking space down by Big Lots or further down, they don't have any curb cuts for you to get up onto the sidewalk if you use a wheelchair or other Mobility device.
In order to get to Big Lots I had to go to the far north of the shopping center to use the one curb cut that they have for the handicap permit parking spaces over there. And then it's a long travel down to Big Lots. Big Lots has its own accessibility problems, but that is for a different view.
I never want to go to Holly Farm Shopping mall again. The only redeeming value of this place is that they have a Harbor Freight...
Read moreThis complex features a Harbor Freight Tools, Big Lots, and the Oak Grove 8 movie theater as the anchors. There is also a McDonald's here, a Big 5 Sporting Goods, and an ultrasound for laser tag and video games. Parking is rather easy for all the places. It's sort of rundown as a complex compared to the nicer complexes and some other areas, but it honestly gets the job done. We love the movie theater here, the prices are very reasonable for both the films and the food. We will keep going to the movies at the Oak Grove 8 here. Be aware that the Oak Grove 8 takes only cash though, that might be one of the reasons the prices are able to be kept at. The staff at the Harbor Freight has always been friendly and helpful, as has the staff at the Big Lots. The McDonald's also has a Play Place. it's not the fanciest shopping complex by any means, nor the newest looking but it gets...

I can't say enough good things about Harbor Freight. I want at least one of most things they carry! Great staff and customer service. I'd give them a 5!
Why do I drop the Holly Farms Shopping Center by two stars? The McDonald's. It has one of those play areas for kids in case the adults want to hang out (why??). To be fair, I didn't look inside to see what was in the play area. I do recall they have (or used to) one of those ball pits. I can't imagine the sheer volume of germs festering in there. Aside from that, it's a small area with other germ farms. If you and/or the kids want McDonald's, go to the drive-thru, get your food then take the kids to a park with a playground and...
