We had my son’s birthday party there a few months ago. The arcade area in front is a little small and crowded but nice. The staff were all very young but friendly. The birthday packages don’t really include a host so make sure you time laser tag games and party activities out. We ended up having our laser tag games back to back and about 12 mins for cake. We asked the manager for a little more time and he was able to stretch it for us. My big issue comes with laser tag play. Our group had 8 seven year olds. They let various groups go in at the same time and one of the other groups was a large group (20ish) of teenagers. During laser tag these teenagers played rough with our 7 year olds. It was more than just running into them or cornering them. They punched, kicked, grabbed onto, tripped and held down our kids to get points from their vests. A few of our kids came out crying and hurt. Someone in the staff is tasked with supervising the games and clearly that was not done. We told the staff and they asked for us to point out the group but they were not there at the moment. The staff said they can’t do anything if the teens are not there. Then the teens come out of the laser tag room and our kids point them out. The staff then said they can’t say anything if they didn’t see it happen themselves. They did not want to do anything about the situation. The adults in our group told the teenagers to watch for little kids and not be violent or take advantage but they didn’t really care. We asked the manager to at least not mix teenagers with little kids for fear it would happen again. They didn’t seem too concerned. They did discount our tab. Too bad. If it were not for this incident I...
Read moreWent on a Friday night for their special, They said it was a slower night, we got about 8 games in, the last 4but or so there were few enough people that we didn't have to rotate, we just played back to back. The equipment is great, some of the best i have used, reliable, long range on the guns.
The arena is a pretty good size with part of it elevated, some reflective walls you can bounce shots off, briefing room is separate from the staging room so they can brief one group while another plays.
They don't use a base for respawning, you just come back online a couple seconds later, sometimes this can be frustrating as it can devolve into a group of people standing around a target they all want to shoot, shooting each other point blank every time their vests come back on.
The arcade isn't huge but big enough if you want to play other games between rounds, fairly limited snack bar, but you can at least grab a drink and some candy. Hot dogs take a while to make, pizza, when they have it, is Papa Murphy's that they run through a...
Read moreThey had an online coupon where you could buy 3 games per person for 2 people for $25. After spending over 15 minutes trying to create an account and purchase the coupon, the payment would never go through, even though I tried a couple of different cards. I asked at the counter for help, so they got a manager. He came out from the back and I explained the situation. He said “sorry, nothing I can do. I’m prohibited by contract from selling it to you directly” … okay? So let us play full price for one game, and allow the kids to play three times then? Or at least maybe twice? Instead we got to pay $60 (on one of the same cards that wouldn’t process for the online payment) for six people to play one game each, instead of $75 for three games each. Just seemed a bad way for management to handle the situation. We did have a really fun time playing though. We live really close, so we will probably...
