Update from below.... Most things have improved significantly. Except for one nasty girl ( image below ) who did not wipe down the counter by the register but was standing around with 2 fingers up her nose playing with nose ring. Did NOT wash her hands then started touching everything. When we walked into the place everything was dirty. The tables the floor, the counter's all around the cash register. All the employees looked at us like they had no clue what was going on, why we were there. There was nobody else in the restaurant when we walked in. There was one guy slowly sweeping the lobby floors. The rest were basically standing around. Not wiping down counters, not cleaning up the disasters all over the floor in the back or around the food areas. I can honestly say I have never seen a restaurant look so dirty and messy ever in my life. The girll who decided to stroll up to the counter to take our order as slow as she possibly could, was not friendly at all. She didn't greet us. She never smiled. I could barely hear her speaking. It was the worst customer service. On top of everything being so messy, the meat looked dried out. The food was made very very sloppy. The burrito was barely closed and the wrapper for the burrito was not closed all the way. Most of the stuff fell out of the burrito. When she made my bowl she stacked everything to 1 side. Leaking everywhere when I tried to open it. There was food all over the wrappers and container, very messy. There was lettuce in my burrito bowl that I did not ask for that totally ruined the taste of my food.
I wish I could have taken pictures of everything but I was trying to be discreet. I was only able to get right in front of the register without people seeing me.
I would give it 0 stars if I could, but I will let that 1 star go to the guy who was sweeping and at least trying to do...
Read moreI don't know if I came in at a bad time, or if this is how it is for all Chipotles, which in that case I will never be going back to one again. first of all this is from my own experience you may have a different one. Walking inside it was mostly clean it was not immediately clear where to go to pick up an online order. But I figured it out pretty fast after asking an employee, after picking up my food I got a drink so I went over to the drinks area to find it basically filled with a quarter inch of water on the surface area on the metal, there was a bunch of ice and the dispenser and it was dirty, it looked like they had been ignoring it since the day they opened. Everything else, the tables, the food area behind, the kitchen was all clean no issues there, it just felt abandoned in that side corner. Please also check they include the drinks they did not with mine. When I got home I unboxed what was a sad attempt at a burrito, I ordered carnitas, with no rice, pinto beans and cheese when I opened it up it was warm and the ingredients tasted fresh. and the drink was cold that's where the good ends, biting into a burrito that has a soft shell but incorrectly folded tastes like you are attempting to bite into a crab shell, in the back it was almost impossible for me to eat and I feel like if it had been attempted to fold the burrito better It would have been edible but at that point I was not going to try and refold my own burrito which I paid $14 for total, drink and burrito. I know a lot of people like Chipotle so maybe I just had a bad experience but this is my experience and I am sharing it you can take it with the grain of salt or you can avoid this place. there are multiple places out there that offer better portions for around the same price, like cha cha cha milwaukie...

March 2024 I went back to Chipotle on 99E in Milwaukie for the second time and I was disappointed. It was so great when it first opened, but now it is not being managed very well. The poor young person that was working at the counter building meals was obviously overworked and stressed because they were on their own and a long line of people. The other person at checkout was trying to help her by wrapping a burrito, but obviously didn’t know what they were doing and only made it worse for the other person working so hard. Everything was slopped into the bowl and overflowing over the edge because that person was in such a hurry building meals. The counters were filthy and they need a “cleanup” person. Where is the manager to help? Nowhere to be seen. And obviously the people working behind the scene seemed frazzled. At this rate (only a month into this new location) this Chipotle is only going to lose customers. It was so great on opening day, but they need more staff and training. They need leadership so it’s a success!
February 2024 - a 5-star! I just went to the family opening of this new Chipotle. The place is fantastic! My favorite has been the Chipotle in Lake Oswego, but now this one is!
All the staff were super excited about the opening and so friendly and helpful. I got the veggie bowl and everything was super fresh.
I love Chipotle. It is so affordable and such good food that is good for you! We have been waiting for this to open in Milwaukie and so...
