The pizza tasted pretty good but other than that it was not worth going. It sort of feels like they were trying to become a family friendly sports bar. The service was not great. Sat near the bar so my husband could get some beer only to be told he had to go to the front counter to even order the beer. They have an arcade for the kids there so I had brought some change... The games only take tokens... a token costs a quarter. They have a machine that will make your change into tokens for you but it was broken and ate some of my money. So back to the counter again and they did fix it. So now we have our tokens and I take my daughter to go play. first game we try eats our 2 tokens. I give up tell her its broken and we try another game this one works so we play it a few times. its one of those ones where there are holes in the bottom and a ball drops down and whatever number hole you land in you get tickets for it. My daughter actually got the ball in one of the jackpot holes and no tickets came out. I went and got an employee and he seemed to know what was wrong before I even told him so I think either people lie a lot or the machines are broken and they know it. Anyways sorry this is so long. The employee made it right gave us the tickets and the coins that got eaten. When my daughter went to pick her prize she wanted a light up ring which of course didnt light up he gave us another that did. The one young man I saw while there was very nice and helpful but that place has so many broken down things I felt bad for having to ask him to fix stuff every few minutes. Overall I would say just get pizza to go cause it is expensive but tasty. If you like sports I would go there but as a family place or for kids birthday parties I would not...
Read moreHorrible. I have visited this round table 4 different times trying to find a day that the lunch buffet was done well and all 4 times I have left and told myself never again.
Today was the 4th visit on a Wednesday.
This place apparently doesn't know how to make pizza without mushrooms. If you do manage to catch a pizza without mushrooms its plain cheese or pepperoni. I have seen them put out a half / half pepperoni - hawaiian but the hawaiian side is gone every time before I can even get to it.
Most of the time the pizzas with mushrooms on them sit my entire visit while anything without mushrooms goes fast. I have brought this to the attention of the staff multiple times but they wont do anything about it. Hawaiians go so fast you can barely get a single slice.
If you are going to visit this specific round table I would avoid the buffet and just order a pizza. Otherwise if you want a quality round table lunch buffet go to the clackamas round table. They always have a nice variety of pizzas and will also take requests as you are paying. I typically say can you toss down a mauii and they will without a issue. For some reason the McLoughlin round table doesn't want to listen to the customer or just doesn't really care.
I'm not above picking off a mushroom or two I'm really not but the fact is they cover them so heavily in mushrooms you wont get them all off the pizza.
So I would highly recommend avoiding this store until they realize that they need to pay attention to what is being eaten right away and...
Read moreI've been waiting a long time to post this review. I kept hoping the situation was temporary but alas, I have seen zero improvement. The only bright spot to this place it that they serve Round Table Pizza and it still tastes good. That's where it stops. A minor annoyance is that you cannot order beer when you order your food, you must walk to the bar and wait for a staff member to make their way over there to order. A major annoyance, the staff. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they're nice people, but apathetic over their jobs is an understatement. If you're bringing me a cessation salad to my table it would be really nice if you brought a fork too. Don't make me get up and walk to the buffet. Just handle it. It's service 101. One might there was some sort of water leak near thr woman's restroom and I watched one of the girls tell an elderly woman with a walker who was trying to enter the restroom over the giant puddle of water that she didn't know where it came from. She then put a went floor sign on it and walked away. I held the door for the elderly lady and helped her navigate into the restroom over the water then grabbed paper towel and started wiping. 2 more employees watched me doing this before one of them asked me what was up then went to get a mop. Bottom line. Pizza good. I still go there with my kids every week becuase they have been gracious enough to allow our Pokémon league to use their party room, and I am really grateful for that. But there is some SERIOUS room...
