Van Cleve Park & Gladstone Beach — Attraction in Gladstone

This is such a beautiful place to park. We were driving and around 10p decided that we needed to take a break for the evening. We pulled off and stayed at this park for the evening. Wow! It is quite a stunning location. There is a beautiful pier that has dim lights and benches to sit and listen to the water. I must warn you the wind was blowing pretty hard. The weather indicated it was 4mph but we are positive it was blowing quiet a bit harder than that.

In the morning it was gorgeous. I posted photos from my bedroom window. The lighting was beautiful. We got out and took the dog down to the beach 🏖️

Beautiful , very spacious . The harbor is right on lake Michigan and there is a dedicated fishing pier. The entire park is well maintained and well managed especially for a city the size of Gladstone. It also has a skate park and tons of nice playground equipment. Best part is ? It is all free . This has been my daughters and I place to go in the summer! There's a skate park right on the beach. There's also a great kids playground. Its clean and safe. The bathrooms are maintained. During the summer they have music every Thursday from 7 to 9pm. Just a well thought out park, with paths to walk also..or bike. A good place to go for the family, without having to spend a lot!
