The Expo at Glen Rose — Attraction in Glen Rose

We attended a calf roping that a family member was competing in so we saw parts of the facility we would not have otherwise seen. The arena is air conditioned, has plenty of restrooms, a snack bar where the food & service were excellent with plenty of tables and an adjacent bar. You can eat and drink there or in the arena. Excellent experience. The staff that work for the county are super friendly and the onsite concession Taylor's Turn N' Burn has the best food friendly help and a surprisingly diverse menu. At the 2014 holiday market the event coordinators where not only accommodating but help unload our vehicles and our product. Definitely looking forward to the next event set up at the Somervell...

Feb 4th Tractor Pull. Leaking toilets, inoperable toilets, dirty facility, extremely limited concessions (think TBall) with lukewarm food, flat fountain drinks, soggy fries and no grill.
