3B Beers, Brats, and Burgers — Restaurant in Glen Rose

My daughter and I came across this place tucked away a short walk from the Oakdale Park RV and camp site. It's basically an outdoor beer joint with a food truck attached. The staff and locals are friendly and the beer is cold. Plenty of outdoor games (corn hole, jenga, frisbee golf putting) for my 7 yr old to play with on a well-maintained artificial turf area. They had trivia evening on the Thursday we visited. Not surprisingly, the truck sells simple-but-fresh burgers and brats. My 7 yr old wolfed down the adult burger no problem, but they are a good size. On site parking is v. limited, but there's plenty of road parking in the neighborhood. A small covered area is available when it rains. A nice simple place to chill with no drawbacks.

We visited this year (1 year later) - place is still great but there have been significant upgrades with a much bigger indoor area and larger bar. Atmosphere, food service is still great....

Absolutely amazing!! Home made brats, kraut, burgers etc. Amazing food, atmosphere, amd service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was our first time, and we live over an hour away. Will DEFINITELY be back. Great crew, drink selection, food and super friendly to our kids today. Overall amazing. Also Get a burger with the home made saurkraut and a homemade bratwurst with the saurkraut. Slightly spicy, but not painful spice. Just a pleasant flavor. The potato salad has bacon, and you can't go wrong with bacon.

I can't say enough good things about this place. They also have corn hole and other various little games in back, plus misters and fans for that texas heat.

This was a great little unexpected stop on our way to the dinosaur Valley State Park. It was a family oriented beer garden had lots of fun things for the kids to do, cornhole for the grown-ups, space for the little ones to burn off some energy. The staff was super friendly and the whole atmosphere was very welcoming. We ordered burger baskets (came with burgers and chips) for $9 and when they found out that we were new there they encouraged us to try the potato salad. We would encourage you to try it as well. It was delicious. The burgers are great -toppings were fresh-we would highly recommend. On our way out the door, we realized that they were getting ready to have an all you can eat fish fry.
