Great little fishing pond / lake. Always decent fishing when they aerate the ponds with fountains. There are hardly any bait fish in the pond, so the bass are hungry (also skinny). There are supposedly both smallies and largemouth, perch, stripers, bluegills, and channel cats. The pond is really shallow, so you have to cast deep. Apparently they stock the pond, and do fishing derbies. Well kept grass and...

Beautiful neighborhood lake. Clean, lots of wildlife, subtle parking, free book library, decent fishing. Caught a couple catfishes here. Good for a nice walk. Small children's...

We had a reely fintastic time at the #GHPD Cops and Bobbers Fishing Derby! Congratulations to all of our trophy winners. From 1 oz trophies to 3+ lb monsters, we had a blast! Special thank you to Chief Pappas, Glendale Heights Trustee Jenny Matrasko and one of our brave cadets who each tested one of the bait worms to ensure they were safe for fish consumption. 🤢 On a side note, special thank you to Tommy's Red Hots in Glendale Heights for donating all of the hot dogs that were both delicious and worm free!
