Alta Vista Trail — Attraction in Graham

29 July, Saturday We entered Paradise from Packwood and out from Ashford.

The roads leading to paradise from Packwood are under construction Monday to Friday so there is heavy weekend rush! We went to Paradise and it was packed like crazy. We couldn't find parking upto 3 miles in either direction of Packwood Inn. We went to Narada falls instead and decided to skip Alta Vista trail and Myrtle falls. On our way from paradise to Ashford we saw bumper to bumper traffic starting from the entrance of the Mt Rainier park to Ashford downtown.

P.S: Mt Rainer was covered in clouds for the most part of...

This is the epitome of what we were looking for when we came to Mt. Rainier to hike. It’s a little steeper than the other hike near it but it’s a good way to get to the view fast and see the valleys. It’s also the most clear when you’re visiting during a foggy day....

Beautiful hike but very steep. It offers grear views of the mountain range around Mt. Rainier. It's not very long though you can keep hiking way more after this point. The path is paved. There lots of wild flowers in July in August when I've gone. Lots of parking available, too. Also, mountain fauna can be seen on the way. Myrtle falls are on the way. Just follow the signs.

Hermosa caminata pero muy inclinada. Ofrece maravillosas vistas de la cordillera de montañas alrededor de la montaña Rainier. No es muy larga pero se puede seguir caminando más allá de este punto. El camino está pavimentado. Hay mucho estacionamiento disponible. Hay muchas flores silvestres en julio y agosto cuando he ido. También se puede observar la fauna de la montaña. Las cascadas myrtle están por el camino. Solo sigue...
