My husband and I recently married in February 2021, and we cannot even begin to give justice to how perfect our experience was with Aneesa and The Graham Mill. We started planning our wedding in 2019, and due to changes with COVID, had to entirely reorg our original wedding plan, which led us to finding a new venue. We had already worked with Aneesa through our planning service (Harmony Weddings) and knew exactly who to contact when faced with needing a new space for our intimate event. We learned that she had recently completed renovations of this beautiful historical building in Graham, and decided to take a tour. We instantly fell in love with the location of the venue and the building itself - parking for The Graham Mill is so convenient, the town is lovely and has phenomenal local restaurants and breweries to visit, and the building itself is breathtaking! My husband and I could immediately imagine ourselves getting married in this space, surrounded by market lights and natural brick and beautifully restored windows. The bridal party suites were also a true treasure with so much space and lighting. On the day of our wedding, we felt totally at home in The Graham Mill. We were able to fully relax and enjoy the suites to get ready in along with the roomy (and beautiful!) bathrooms. Although we did not utilize the fenced in courtyard for cocktail hour (it was sleeting and super cold on our wedding day), it provided the perfect space for some beautiful and private outdoor photos, and allowed us to have a magical location for our sparkler exit later in the evening. The interior was so warm and inviting all throughout the night, and our guests loved how much character the building had. The space had so much versatility and really came to life with all of our loved ones there. We were even able to arrange the setup for a COVID-friendly barcade during the reception, thanks to Aneesa’s help and guidance! An excellent space with disappointing service

I would give the space itself at least a 4/5. It's a huge venue with both indoor and outdoor spaces, so you really can make any vision come true. Plenty of natural light, airy curtains, and included dressing rooms. They also include plenty of tables and chairs, so you don't have to worry about renting them. There were just minor things I didn't love about the space- no freezer for ice, no dumpster, for example.

Unfortunately, their manager is disorganized, which is the last thing you want from a wedding venue. I was repeatedly called the wrong name in person and in my wedding contract. I was blown off for venue visits after making plans well in advance. This made planning even more stressful than it needed to be. Then on the morning of my wedding, the staff was just starting to set up at 10am, when I had been promised that the place would be ready at 10am. Even once it was "ready", my wedding planner had to clean up trash and stickiness from the previous event.

Thankfully my wedding went well, and my family was able to get everything set up on time even with the delay. But there were times in the planning process where I had deep regrets over choosing this venue. I did not feel confident in the venue manager, and it made me really nervous about my wedding.
