Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 595 — Attraction in Grand Junction

My family have been members of the lodge here for years. The group that is there is usually pretty tight knit and everyone seems to know everyone. The serve a wide variety of food on different nights and have fun activities other nights such as bingo, karaoke, and poker. They have a nice big dining hall that severed as my venue for my wedding. Some of the bartenders can be a little sluggish trying to get drinks so don't expect any hussle.

My kids have been raised coming here and most of the people are pretty relaxed about it. They have two horse show pits outside and a big warm tent for smokers.

After playing ganes in the order for 3 years, they changed their rule enforcement and ran us out, then said we can because a member but the 7 of us didnt know another member. They didn't want to help their members and the trustees don't care.

If they were not anti friends maybe we would be allowed through the door. And out right blocking us for joining because of a rule that is for outside people.

I was there every weekend for 3 years.

Also their idea of saving power buy not heating the building back rooms are causing thermal cracking to the concrete floor, and the building is starting vibrate...

I'm a frequent out-of-town visitor and ironically my home Eagles club raved about this one before I ever stepped foot in here. Super nice people, friendly regulars, food is always good, staff (Betty, Olivia, Sara, et al) are fantastic, drinks are well done, something going on just about everyday, and of course at the core of every worthy Eagles club, they do a ton for the community.
