I recently moved to GJ and filled my first RX today. The gentleman that was working at desk asked how he could help me. I explained that it’s my first time filling a RX here and gave my name and birth date. Everything was great up to this point! Then he proceeded to tell me that the entire RX could not be filled and could I return tomorrow. I asked how much of the RX was on hand? He never responded. Then he told me that the cost would be over $400 for a 90 day supply. I told him I had been on this RX for over a year and it should be around 30 something dollars for 90 days and something isn’t right. He then said well we didn’t put it thru your insurance. All along I had my card in my hand waiting for him to ask for it. He then said they looked online and had my insurance. I asked what insurance it was and the gentleman at this point was visibly upset that I was asking questions and his tone was rude and very curt. When I continued to say that the cost didn’t seem right he advised me that I needed to speak to the pharmacist. The women (assistant to pharmacist ) that assisted me and answered all my questions was polite and the epitome of customer service. After she explained the situation with insurance I asked her to run my Good RX card and the cost for 90 day RX was $39.00. She told me my RX would be ready in 20 minutes. As promised it was ready and I received the 90 day RX AND didn’t have to come back the next day as the gentleman stated in the beginning of our conversation for my RX. I will use this pharmacy again as the pharmacist and assistant pharmacist were very nice. However if I have issues again with this gentleman in the future I may not restrain myself and be the lady I was today. Someone please get this gentleman some customer service training and talk to him about how to treat people...

Read moreVery inefficient and unfriendly. I stood in front of the pharmacy for an hour when told I could get my daughter's pain medication in 30 minutes. When I approached them to check on the progress, I find that no one communicated to anyone else that I was waiting and then was told I needed to wait another 45 minutes to an hour, as they were prioritizing COVID vaccines. I understand those are important, but I clearly indicated that I had a young child at home who needed her pain medication as she had just come out of a surgery. City Market is a friendly place, but their pharmacy is terrible. This is not the only problematic incident, just the latest. I will take my business elsewhere even if I am forced to go out of my way. Going to Wal-Greens is still in Clifton is still faster, more efficient and a better experience than dealing with this pharmacy. I hope changes for others but I have...
