Nice disc golf course. Played only one time; threw -1 par.
It’s an easy-going, feel-good course. It would be very hard to lose a disc here! No water or other serious hazards. No blind holes. Good course to introduce someone to the sport or bring players who are working on control/distance. The course plays fast - an hour or so.
Pros: Lots of open holes A few trees scattered in to practice tight throws Diversity of distance 160-400+ Easy course No super annoyingly complex holes Hard to lose your disc Easy to walk (small distance/land to cover) No poison ivy Parking is right on the first hole Every bucket points to the next hole with an arrow
Cons: Not scenic Not an exciting layout No super interesting holes Easy course Nothing fancy or especially entertaining Holes are all on top of one another Might throw into street with bad toss Might disturb/hit people playing in the park...
Read moreGarfield Park is great. It's always something cool happening at the gazebo. They had a free food truck mental health awareness day the other day. The Frisbee Golf Course is great it's actually one of the oldest in the country probably the world. 18 holes very well kept. There's nowhere to lose your frisbees. There are some very beautiful houses that are around the park. And even the people walking around the area are nice. All of the T pads are concrete. Every hole has a sign with a measurement. They even just revamped two or three holes last week. Really at the Great Park The Grass Is Always well kept, something to do with the location to 131 in the trees that line the first 10 holes make it so you can play all 18 in the rain and not get very wet. The holes all move fast everyone is super friendly on the course. Is a little Serene spot in the middle of otherwise very...

One stall had a broken toilet seat (maybe it had recently happened, I don't really know), and the other stall the door frame was bent so bad it was nearly impossible to get into it. I had to pull the frame back pretty hard to get the door open and even then the hinges were so tight it maybe opened a foot, if that. I sent my son in because he needed to use the bathroom, he's 7 so he fit just fine...but I'm not sure most people could. The frame for the stalls needs some...
