Kroc Center Campus — Local services in Grand Rapids

The took my money for a day pass. Didn’t tell me I couldn’t swim or use the empty hot tub and made my crying 6 year old wait 45 minutes to use an empty pool. The front desk people didn’t mention any of the rules around pool usage when we told them what we wanted to do. The first time I was informed of the rules was when I tried to get in the empty hot tub and they told me I couldn’t use it. Why they wouldn’t mention this beforehand is a mystery to me. Horrible experience which ruined my and my child’s entire Saturday.

The facilities inside are nice. However the place is run very incompetently. That’s me giving the benefit of the doubt that they aren’t just scamming money out of people.

It’s funny too because years ago I was a member and always had good experiences. My daughter took ballet and swim lessons here. I did Judo here for years. Seems very different from the way it used to be...
