Constructed in 1813 and at the time the largest single-span stone arch bridge in the US, the bridge spans the casselman river. Once a stage coach route, now you can walk where Washington crossed, and marvel at the beautiful design reflecting in the clear water below. We both like small towns and historic places. The picture of the bridge attracted us to force there. Unfortunately the weather was not that good. So the historical part satisfies us. The small town part was nothing peculiar. I have to say it is still a pretty stone bridge....
