Jones Island Park — Attraction in Grayslake

They have renovated the park in the last few years and added a lovely playground with slides and swings. There is a rain garden that is nice and should help with drainage although it does draw mosquitoes. There is a covered patio with tables where you could have a gathering and there are benches and picnic tables throughout the park. There is a cordoned off area of beach to play in and the swim zone is clearly marked. It's a beautiful spot to hang out and look...

It’s definitely a nice hidden gem with an open beach that’s free to the public has two volleyball courts three shelter areas also has a disposable for hot coal, which is very nice and it definitely a good fishing area along the side

I would say if you’re looking for a nice little spot to fish but also have the kids close by this is definitely a part two coming in bring the little ones

A wonderful public park. Playground equipment is appropriate for most ages, plenty of green space, solid walking trails, some sports facilities, picnic pavilions, etc. Not to mention, the crown jewels: the well maintained beach, and beautiful sights of Grays Lake.

Additionally, the park is very accessible, with ample parking, and within walking distance of the large residential area it's located within.
