My fiancé and I are getting married in October and just signed on a house. We wanted to furnish that house. So we seen the reviews of Kloss and were like this looks like our spot. We arrive and there are a few people on the sales floor. Some were helping others and some weren’t. No greeting or acknowledgment we were there. Ok, fine. I don’t like the hassle of someone shadowing me through a store anyway. We spend 1-2hrs picking out furniture. Still no one looks our direction. It comes time to leave & I see a pillow. I ask a “gentleman” if this counter where sales associates were finalizing sales with other customers was where I also make my purchase? In a very condescending loud, voice he interrupts everyone with what they’re doing and says this guy wants a pillow can you stop and take care of him? I was mortified saying I wasn’t trying to interrupt I just wasn’t sure where to make my $40 purchase. Jasmine comes over with a form clearly aggravated. I state I’m just getting a pillow do I really need to fill this out. She says yes. I said even for cash? Yes. Well I left. I felt like a total Karen. Fast forward a week later we return to purchase the furniture. Jasmine is there to greet us when we walked in the door but we didn’t recognize each other. She asked if she could help. I mentioned the other night and she was asking who was there and what they looked like. She leaves and comes back to tell me that it was her. She states she thought I looked familiar, and her manager to make it up to us said would give the black sticker price plus 10% discount and every other item after that would be the the red sticker price plus an extra 30%. Or viceversa. I’m like well now that’s making it right. We were Very pleased. Well we point out the furniture and the couch we wanted. all they had was the couch floor model left in stock. $3200 was the sticker price. I asked what he could do since it was the floor model and says he’ll mark it at 3k. I wasn’t happy with it but for some reason I said okay because I thought we were getting such a great deal on everything else. Well we were wanting to get financed. It was 8400 bucks for everything we wanted. Bedroom set, mattress, couch. Well because of all the hard inquiries lately with the house and what not we only get approved for $3200. And I thank god we did. We were going to pay for the rest out right on a credit card but my fiancée kept saying let’s talk about it before we do that. So we just get the couch and king mattress. We leave and start looking up the furniture brand and style on Wayfair. We also looked up the sectional and mattress. What we would have spent $6900 on, plus had to pay delivery and setup at Kloss had we got the bedroom set, Wayfair did for $2200 and we got a vanity with it with free delivery and setup. So I started looking on line at kloss. Come to find out this special discount we were getting because of the way we were rudely treated the first time. Was the exact same Presidents Day discount everyone else was getting. And that 10% off the $3200 couch for a new model is $2880. Ripped off with a flat $3000 we paid for the floor model. Jasmine tried to be helpful and she was very contrite on how things were done our first visit. But the “special discount” actually was just a big ripoff.Update The response was it was a floor model and already heavily discounted? That is false. 1 of 6 items was a floor model and had a sticker price of $3200 brand new. You said you would give it to me for 3k. Hardly a heavy discount. I would have gotten a better deal just taking the 10% presidents day sale that EVERYONE was getting! & this great deal to make up for our horrible experience you give us the discount that everyone was getting? Shame on us just glad we caught it. Jasmine also I want to reiterate I believe was just exasperated that here were 2 employees not doing anything and taking her away from her task to help me instead of him just doing it himself. So I do not put all this on jasmine other than making us hip to the...

Read moreI cannot recommend Kloss Furniture highly enough. It was truly the best experience I've ever had shopping for furniture. From the moment I walked in the door, I could tell the difference in the level of quality, salesmanship and just the overall vibe in the store. Not to mention, I am a freak about organization, and the way they have the furniture displayed and arranged is absolutely gorgeous! By far the most aesthetically pleasing furniture store I have been to. My husband and I worked with Tarek Gaafar at the South County location and he was one of the best salesman I've ever worked with. He greeted us, gave us some helpful tips for understanding their sale signs and then gave us our space to shop and get a feel for what we liked. So often when working with folks that work for commission, it can feel so stressful because I often feel pressured to rush, and end up wondering if I even chose the piece or if it was pushed on me. This wasn't at all the case with Tarek. He didn't follow us around while we were shopping or continously suggest more expensive furniture. He made himself available and had a plethra of knowledge about their products, but he gave us the freedom to shop around and make our own choices. Another thing that really impressed me was his knowledge of the company and the pride he has for working for a fair, family owned business. He told us he was new to furniture sales, but we never would have known it otherwise. He gave us his card and told us to text him when we made our decision and he would meet us at the store. He was there within 30 minutes of us texting. Absolutely outstanding...
