I should have listen to the reviews I read on this very website. First off, they never asked anybody to wash their hands. Or sprayed after each customer got up. The owner Andy T, his gloves were so used that the tips were yellow and broken from a day (or more) of use. It used to be nice and it has def gone down hill.. I asked the owner Andy, twice, and showed him a photo to do an “American tip” acrylic set and he gave me a full on French tip, not American tip. Made my cuticle bleed and then charged me 35$ for changing it!! I called him up asked why my card was charged extra for that and he started to yell at me, the whole nail place was full of customers when I left so I know everyone there could hear him yelling at a customer over the phone, that makes me happy to know he showed his weakness to MANY of his customers and not just me. 🙌🏻 (We talked while he was doing my nails, I mentioned I hadn’t been there in a year due to the PANDEMIC) and when he was yelling at me over the phone so much that I couldn’t speak he said to me “you don’t tell me! Because you havnt been here in a year, I know nails!!”

Him nor I need to “know nails” to know this is a FRENCH TIP. An idiot could tell you this is NOT American Tip nails (I attached photo to show his failure of knowledge, even though he claims he knows nails)

I even told him it’s not about money, never once asked for any money back or mentioned money period. I just wanted to know the difference between American set and a French set. I don’t want the money back, they did the work they keep the money. I just wanted to understand the difference. They look fine other than the bleeding but will never be going in there again.my family has gone here for years we knew some of the old workers by name. It’s wild how a place can turn. Ashamed Andy was so upset he needed to yell at me and told me not to come back. I couldn’t even talk he was going off so much. It must of been a bad day for him personally, we all have bad days. But no excuse to yell at me over obvious mistakes. (Again photo attached, proof is in the pudding)

Again, it’s not about the money I didn’t even ask for the money back at all. and he yelled at me like a crazy person. I won’t be buying all my moms gift certificates here anymore and she was upset to hear what happened when I called her. That’s two customers. She told me the last two girls she would request do her nails, have since left. so she doesn’t need to go back. She loved Zoe. They must have high employee turnover rate due to other reviews mentioning...

I'm a cosmetologist myself and I did do nails in beauty school so I know how it all should be done. I went on a Saturday evening to get my nails done after reading the reviews on here. I called them prior to see if they had matte colors and he kept telling me they do just come in and it's $20 for the full set. I get there and he's like choose a color and she'll be with you. I was like I called for the matte color he's like yeah just choose one and we can make it into matte. I chose one and as the lady by the name of Nina was doing my nails, I told her length which is not as long as what I usually get else where I was going shorter this time, she speaks to him then he comes over and say it's extra $5 so $25. I'm like ok no problem, I didn't mind it. Then he's like oh you want matte then it's extra $3 for this matte top coat! I'm like ok still because I was expecting my nails done right. SHE ONLY DID A DOT OF Acyrlic and it was super thin! She filed my nails so crooked then when I point it out she smiles and tells me oh yeah more this side (like if you know why don't you do it right and wait for me like its my job)..then for the color, it kept chipping cracking as she's applying it. I let her continue on to see how 2nd coat would look. She would POLISH MY CUTICLES!!! and spots I still see my nail bed in the middle & sides. I kept telling her sorry but I'm picky I see this/that. She smiles back but doesn't do it right to where I was like I just want to leave without finishing the matte thing.. Which by the way was horrible!!! It was only matte that night LOL!! I gotten a full set acrylic Saturday evening and Tuesday I see a crack on two of my fingers. Wednesday one of the two brake while the others still longer then Thursday (today) another one of the cracked ones brake. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE! I'm going back to my nail lady regardless of the wait. ( I DON'T DO ANY HEAVY DUTY WORK, I work at an attorney office imagine if someone who actually had to do...

I am floored and so upset with the treatment I just received at US Nails on Lindbergh in South County. I have been using US Nails for over 5yrs. I have recommended them to everyone I know. We used them for my sister's wedding. I seriously tell everyone. Not anymore. Their customer service and product has gone down greatly. I had my nails done last week...acrylic fill with gel polish. The gel did not set up correctly and 2 nails peeled and one broke. I asked to have them fixed. I was told by Andy (the owner) that it was my fault and I am the only one that complains or has issues (this same thing with peeling has happened 2 other times in the last 3 months) I do not soak my hands in water. I use gloves when cleaning. Nothing has changed in my routine that would cause the peeling so much. Obviously something has changed in the product they are using to have caused this. I was speechless when he said it was my fault. His tone of voice and attitude was nothing I had seen before. I will not be returning and I will be sure to tell everyone I know.

Another point to mention... The wax they use for eyebrows has changed as well. I have had this service done by them multiple times over the last 5 years. This last time the wax was extremely hot. It left small red bumps above my eyebrows. I know this can happen occasionally so I just ignored it. Now when I wash my face though, the red bumps appear back. My sister mentioned the exact same thing to me. So what's the reasoning to this? This is my fault as well.

I guess since they have gotten new chairs and stations their customer service went out the door with the old items.

I will no longer be asking for gift certificates for this place or giving them as gifts.

I do not recommend them and will need to find someone else who cares about their customers and stands behind...
