This organization called me to purchase air purifiers from my company. The women I talked to name was Patricia. She asked me for a price quote for the units she desired and I sent this to her right away. She then informed me that they would not pay by credit card and would only send a check. A week later she called me and demanded an invoice for the sale before the order is placed and check sent. I explained to Patricia that I already sent her the price quote and I would e-mail and or fax her a paid in full receipt after receiving, depositing and clearing the check as this is the way I have been doing business for the last 26 years when people send me checks instead of utilizing credit cards. After explaining this to Patricia she took a fit on me while telling me that it was a mistake to do business with me because the way I do business does not match her way of doing business. She was rude, demanding and talked down to me as if I was a moron. After hearing this I told her that I don't need to be talked to in this manor and she could and should do business elsewhere! I then said have a nice day and I hung up! I hope that people read this so proper changes can be made for the benefit of this...

Within two minutes, it was determined that the sectional would not be taken because of a stain. Mind you the 'stain' was on the frame under the seat cushions, not on the cushions or any fabric. Once it was determined that the sectional would not be taken, they would not move it to get to the other items behind it.
Never once was I told during the initial conversation that items had to be stain free or that the driver would decide if condition was good enough for pickup. I took a day off for this. NEVER would I consider donating or...

It may be me, but I thought a thrift shop usually benefits a charity, this benefits Greenwich Hospital by donating equipment? Really? Greenwich Hospital has some of the largest donators in this country and a thrift store is needed for equipment? Some items are priced appropriately for being 'used' as they are designer clothes and cost $$$$, etc, but most items are not, and are too expensive for a 'thrift' store located in the lower to middle income area...
