
As a newcomer to Greenwood and first time walking in to this Salon with my daughter who goes to Lander University I was completely shocked at the lack of customer service and unfriendliness they lacked! I have NEVER entered in to a place I was NOT greeted at ALL! I entered in front door cute entrance looked around at least 10 minutes, my daughter wanted a cute vintage suit case, a pair of cute black pants, I was going to purchase 3 gift certificates for my daughter and her 2 roommates, after NO ONE addressed us as we entered, never said hello nothing as we looked over 10 minutes, I even stood in front of cute antique truck display over 5 minutes still no hello, welcome, how are you, NOTHING, I then walked past 2 nail salon techs on left 1 with a client, 1 with no one! I came back by I struck up conversation just like this.... Umm hello can you tell me what Services you offer here? She said...what service are you looking for with absolutely NO personality NO excitement nor inviting.... the conversation just was horrible as far as customer service goes! So long story short they lost money, 3 potentially new customers and a very unhappy mom who is in the Sales, Marketing and Customer Service world and word of mouth goes a long way! I just could not believe it! Small town, cute store, but obviously they have more business than they need and DO NOT NEED new customers! My advice GO across the street called ALLURE they were super friendly, smiling, helpful, laughter, stayed with them over 30 minutes and BAM they had a new customer.
P.S. Your employee told me about the Salon across the street! She did NOT offer your services or try to even ask if I wanted the items my daughter wanted! Just...
   Read moreI do want to start off by saying my hairstylist was very sweet, but unfortunately, I paid $135 for something that was not at all like what I showed her and kept stressing to her I was wanting. It wasn’t like I gave her something impossible to achieve. My regular got COVID, and since I was meeting my in-laws, I decided to quickly find someone to throw together what I needed. When I left here, my hair had to be done twice, and neither time did it look even remotely similar to what I came in wanting. Not to mention, it’s only been two weeks later and the color has faded completely! Even with using Paul Mitchell color protection shampoo and only washing it 2-3 times since it’s been done. The store is nice, kind of a country chic style in my opinion.
As far as the owner and other staff, I will not say much other than they have never greeted or acknowledged my presence upon entrance. Even when my nail tech has stepped away from her station, most other staff would say "Hello Kayla stepped away for a second, have a seat, she will be with you momentarily."
No, not these people! I've never experienced such rudeness from a personal care place of business!!
