The Mill House is a local pizza restaurant and brewery. I've been a few times when making day trips to Greenwood.

The restaurant itself is fairly large, and can accommodate larger groups of people if needed. I've personally never had to wait for a table, but I tend to go there at odd hours. There is also bar seating available. Outdoor seating is a little small, only about 4 or 5 tables available. There is plenty of parking in a public lot across the street. Street parking is also available in front of the restaurant.

I usually get the Pauly's Preferred pizza. Pizzas are all personal sized so its a little tricky ordering for a big group sometimes. Would be nice if there were options for a variety of sizes. One personal pizza is plenty of food however. If you are someone who likes smaller meals of pizza, or would only eat a slice or two of Domino's, you will have leftovers. The pizza is wood fired so the crust is thinner and a bit crispy. Otherwise, crust is not dry and all the ingredients are fresh. I think the ratio of toppings to cheese and sauce is good as well. My only complaint would be that the sausage is slices of links instead of ground sausage.

I've never had an issue with the staff, although they can be a little slow if the place is busy. They will also recommend drinks and are usually very good at recommending.

Food and drink is a little pricey, but it is a local place and you can tell the ingredients and drinks are fresh. Expect to pay about $12 per pizza and drinks are between $5-$8. Building your own pizza can get pricey as well, with each topping being either...

The Mill house was a pleasant enough place near the hotel I stayed at and judging by the limited menu seems to specialize in all types of pizza. I didn't feel like pizza so ordered a meatball sub with a pickle and pasta salad. The meatballs were very good as was the kind of hot spicy tomato sauce on them. The pasta salad was just OK, not much dressing on it and the pickle was a pickle. what can you say about a pickle spear ? While the food was good, the meatball sub didn't seem to be much more then 2 meatballs but cut up and the bread it was served on didn't seem to even be a whole role, in fact I couldn't even pick it up to eat because the meatballs would've fallen out of what little bread it was on. The side of pasta salad was very small. The waitress was very nice, but when she brought out my food I was kind of shocked at how small it was. Really it looked like a kid's meal. This was $9.50. Maybe they want you to have room for dessert but I could've eaten a whole other dinner. I left the place still hungry and for that reason alone I would never return. I have to add, just to put this in perspective, I am 5'5" and weigh 112 pounds. In other words as a small person, when I say this was a small meal,...

So my family and I chose to eat at #MillHouse in Greenwood, SC tonight. Seriously bad decision. We arrived at 5:50 pm to put our name in for seating, a party of 9 adults and one toddler because we understood this is a holiday weekend and they will be busy. We were finally seated at 7:30 primarily because the adolescents at front of house could not figure out how to pull a six top and a four top together to create a ten top. There did not seem to be a real adult in attendance that was managing anything. One of the kids that was trying to manage front of house actually raised his voice to me and was completely inappropriate in his response to me when I questioned them about why it was taking so long to seat us. I asked him in a respectiveful manner. I was not ugly or aggressive in my inquiry to him. But he raised his voice and was ugly to me to the point that I said to him he needed to show some respect. My family and I over the years of Mill House’s existence have spent thousands of dollars there and have tipped the wait staff very well. I am done now. Do not go to the Mill House if you have a party larger than...

Amazing Food! Brick Oven Pizza is Outstanding! Fresh Ingredients. The service was perfect... AND silly me, I left my wallet on the table and didn't notice till the next day! ... The hostess Katelynn (sp?) Picked it up and put it away safely. She was super sweet when I came in the next day. I could not be more grateful. They are very lucky to have a sweet, kind and honest employee. I am very lucky she did what she did. This could have left the beginning of my two week vacation to a quuck end. So, Thank you Katelynn. We visited today for lunch. We got the beer sampler and got to choose 4 beers to try. We also ordered 2 beers on tap. 2 pizzas and a beer togo. You buy the bottle for 8 dollars and can refill it at the location which is cool. Our waitress was friendly and helpful since we arent big beer drinkers. I loved the beer she helped me pick out. The bathrooms and restaurant was clean. I noticed that the employees never stopped working and cleaning which was refreshing vs seeing them standing and playing on their phones. The food was top knotch. My husband built his pizza..extra cheese and pepperoni. I had the cheese burger pizza. So good. You could watch them make your pizza from mixing to tossing to putting it in the huge pizza oven which was cool. Def a place we will revisit.

My Wife and I moved to Greenwood temporarily for work, best place we have found hands down. Right next to a great brewery they work with/own. Pizzas are to die for and service is exceptional, if there are any issues a well managed and capable staff will help resolve them. My wife and I like the “supernova” a smoked salmon pizza we think is better than Wolfgang puck’s at Spago in Vegas. The prices are incredibly affordable, quality etc. can’t go wrong here, 5 stars is the only acceptable review.
