We have eaten here three times since opening with the thought service would get better with experience…WRONG. Today we waited for 30 mins to be seated, that was understandable because it’s busy. Once seated we waited 15 mins for the waitress to stop gossiping with the waitress behind up before she greeted us (gossiping about not being tipped). We placed our drink order and 10 mins past with no drink. When she placed our waters down she spilled them all over the table and did not apologize or leave napkins. 15 mins later we received our coffee’s we ordered but only after the table beside of us received theirs when they sat down 25 mins after we did. We placed out food order 10 mins later. 20 mins past and I see our order sitting in the window. Our waitress stops at the expo window and gossips with the same girl multiple times and leaves our food sitting there. Keep in mind this waitress had not came back to our table since bringing our drinks out. Literally almost 20 mins later she pulls those plates down and brings them to the table. I spoke up and told her this food had been sitting there for 40 mins in the window and it was now cold and the pancakes were dry and hard. She said she would have the pancakes replaced. My wife finished her cold omelette before the pancakes came out another 15 mins later after the manager finally came back to the expo window and asked for them multiple times. She finally brought them out but we were done at this point. Paid the check and left. The manager needs to put someone working the expo window on these busy days and he needs a lead cook in the back to control the food orders. He is all over the place and isn’t being effective in his role. The wait staff needs to focus on tables and stop gossiping about the customers. The only one constantly working on the serving floor is literally the young girl busing tables! Also the manager never even came to the table even after being informed about the issues with the meal. Moving forward we will travel to another restaurant for brunch. I would avoid going here until the wait staff is trained or replaced.

UPDATE Apparently the owner has responded and is calling me a liar they the food did not sit in the window when I’m fact it did. The waitress even confirmed that it was. Stated she wasn’t paying attention to it. I also did pay the check. I can provide the receipt. This is a fine example of how customers are treated. No concern that the staff is gossiping about customers and tips instead of waiting on tables. And I stated clearly I understood it was busy on these days however when my waitress is gossiping and ignoring the tables is an issue. We...

The food was great. The waitress, Ellen, was friendly and professional. Not only to me, but also to the table of elderly black couple in the next table over. The way she builds report is amazing. I'm a professional negotiator and she's good. Now there was three others at the end of the counter that looked like a high school click at lunch. The black lady in the black coat and pink top with a name tag seemed like a manager, she did a couple of things disgusting. It looked like she licked her fingers while eating. She cleared a table by carrying 2 used cups holding them with fingers on the INSIDE where their saliva would have been and then rolling silverware. Cross contamination?! Possibly. I also watched the other waitress. (I put myself through college working at restaurants myself including managing one.) The other two women when they weren't talking to each other or checking their phones or eating, barely interacted with their customers. I felt lucky to have my waitress because she was so attentive. Smiled and actually greeted people when she was doing hostess duties. Not just doing the bare minimum. You need to send in person to watch and review, and if that was your manager, she was more interested in being one of the girls than doing her job. Oh and the guy from the back coming out front for whatever reason seemed to be a distraction to the 3 waitress. I will request Ellen the next...

Not gonna lie, I was pretty disappointed checking this place out. -Half of my home fries weren't cooked all the way, the other half were, but were somehow cold? -My kids bananas were painfully under-ripe. -Their "omelets" were just a scrambled egg with a cold hard piece of cheese in the center. -Coffee cups were covered in filth and just disgusting. -My wife's biscuits and gravy were... idk... The gravy was just flour and water, which is what gravy is, but dang, put in the salt and pepper at least! -Then there is my food, the founders benedict.... The hollandaise was orange and reminded me of a jello instead of a sauce. -The poached eggs in my food were undercooked in one, and hard in the other. -By the time the food came out, after sitting under the lamps, I was so hungry that I ate just to eat. My kids could barely touch their food. I unfortunately took them to get some greasy McDonalds when I was trying to treat them to a nice meal.

I will say though, that the poinsettia mimosa was pretty dang good. You'll need a few of those if you are going to enjoy your food too.

And that's not to mention that I dropped $95 plus a tip!

All in all, maybe it was a bad day? I usually try places at least twice, but they definitely aren't getting a second...

This is the best breakfast we have ever had. I had the Crab-ocado Scrambler. This was packed with fluffy scrambled eggs, avocado, the best crab cakes you've ever had, caramelized red onion, and bacon. This came with a side of toast, of which they had various options to choose from, and some home fries (or grits) and these were also the best home fries I have ever had. Well seasoned and a tiny bit spicy. I had to take left overs home because I was busting at the seams. This dish was $13 and was we worth the price. My husband had the Strawberries and cream waffles with a side of bacon (or sausage). Bacon wasn't too soft or too crunchy, just perfect. Waffles were sweet and fresh. Its rare that he moans while he eats but this was one of those times. Incredible service from our waitress. Our glasses were never empty and she was so great with her recommendations. All of the staff had smiles on their faces. This was REALLY a pleasant experience and the best breakfast I've had anywhere, let alone this little small town.

I finally tried Eggs Up Grill and I really had high Expectations. I was greeted at the door with a very nice hostess who had all the answers to my questions . Disappointed was my next response when I found out the Salmon Patties on the Menu had been discontinued. I finally ordered a nice breakfast for myself and my family. I ordered a Farmhouse Omelette ($15.95) and was absolutely disappointed with the EXTRA SALTY GRAVY that was poured all over the top . It was intolerable . It may have been fair if it wasn't there . The Cheese Grits were tolerable, funny thing tho , there was absolutely NO SALT AT ALL . Total Bill came to $45.15. IF ANYONE HAD TASTED THE HORRIBLE GRAVY , THEY WOULD HAVE KNOWN IT WASN'T FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION .
