Canoyer Garden Center — Attraction in Grimes

Usually I enjoy going here, very large selection. Unfortunately, my last visit was frustrating. First, I ask someone that was working behind the counter in back if they had any Pampas Grass. She said she wasn’t sure, and instead of herself taking me to look or having a sales staff help me, she just pointed to an area across the building where all the ornamental grasses were. After looking at their plants and not finding what I was looking for, I flagged down another salesperson. He tried helping, but admitted he had only been there a short time and didn’t know a whole lot about ornamental grasses. I have COPD and with the added stress of the Covid-19, there are not a lot of choice when it comes to curbside. I emailed them first and got a helpful email back and then a call. They didn't have all the flowers I wanted but the selection she substituted were great (probably better than what I would have chose). Good healthy plants. Curbside a breeze. Excellent choices of hundreds or maybe thousands of different flowers and other plants. Besides this amazing selection, the plants are in great shape and extremely well maintained.
