Pirate's Island Adventure Golf — Attraction in Gulf Shores

Pirate’s Island Adventure Golf is a very fun, well-designed course. There are two courses: Captain Kidd and Blackbeard’s Challenge. While they did have a combo deal, I simply chose to play the harder course - Blackbeard’s Challenge. The course was surrounded by a lot of water and had a great layout. It was a pretty challenging course overall. Each hole had a unique design and challenge, with many different obstacles like rocks, hills, long slopes, humps, gravel, water, etc. The course had a lot of flavor and was well-decorated with skeletons, cannons, waterfalls, ships, and other pirate paraphernalia. It was very well lit at night and the greens were well-maintained. There are also plenty of opportunities to get free games or other discounts. At the end of the golf, the worker asked how many holes-in-one I got, and they gave me a scratch off for every hole-in-one. Each scratch off gave discounts for another game. It’s a bit pricy, but well worth it. It was a great experience golfing here and I highly recommend...

This is a nice arcade with a lot to do.There are a few games that didnt work and ended up taking my money which is a bit annoying so just be careful of what you play. They have a wide vareity of games to play and the go carts are lots of fun. The games range from $.25 to $3 a game which isnt too bad depending on what you play. The staff is actually pretty nice as well. Not overr the top of coarse but definatly nice and patient. the display case for the prizes is a little unorganized though. It made it a little hard to decide on what to get because prizes and prices were all over the place. But over all, the prizes are okay and are pretty cheap considering what most arcades will charge for small prizes. We had alot of fun here and hope...

Course may be good, but we didn’t get to enjoy it or find out because the bug situation was honestly out of control. We tried to go at 8pm and had to leave because all my kids were crying profusely about the 10 million flying bugs that were landing all over them. I’ve been mini golfing at 10 other places all over Florida, but this was honestly out of hand. It could only be described as a swarm, and they have nothing in place to try to remedy this so you can actually enjoy yourself. I couldn’t even get to the register to talk to the attendant when we left because the lobby was swarmed with thousands of flying bugs - the attendant even seemed distressed.
