Don’t be fooled by the good reviews. So disappointing. We waited an hour to be seated. Not so bad. Ordered food and waited at least half an hour for a table of four. However, my food and drink didn’t come out. It had to be reordered. I didn’t get my food until after my family was completely finished. I ate the food because I was hungry but I asked for them to take it off the check. The manager said that because I ate the food they could only discount half. Yet, it wouldn’t be worth it to me to not eat the food and then still have to go to another restaurant to get some food even if it were from McDonald’s. That manager is completely out of touch with reality. This place is a plastic theme park where most of the people don’t acknowledge you. They’re used to making money regardless of crappy service. While waiting for my food I noticed that at the table next to me a lady was delivered her food but she said “I didn’t order this”. They said, “I’m sorry do you want me to take it back?” But she said, “no, I’m just hungry.” However, the rest of the party didn’t receive their food for at least another fifteen minutes. I guess that was an omen for me. My son’s order was also wrong. Instead of mushrooms on his burger, he received jalapeño’s. My over all impression of the place is that the restaurant is way overextended. It’s a big operation but not able to deliver service. When called for a table i brought my beeper thing to the people at the desk but they pointed me to another station where I was supposed to go. How was I supposed to know? The girl at that desk never smiled nor looked at us. Then she called the hostess girl over to escort us to our table and she never smiled nor said anything but, “follow me.” Just a smile and “how are you doing this evening?” Or a “welcome” would be nice. Basically they don’t have their act together and don’t care if they give you crappy service because there are plenty of other tourists in line. LAME! We wished we had gone back to “The Catch” or “Desoto’s”. We won’t make that mistake again…. Oh and the live music was kind of a joke. This guy must have some family ties to get this gig because when we were at Desoto’s two nights ago the guy playing to pass the time for the people waiting on the tiny porch with his guitar case open for donations was REALLY good. Allergy menu is the best one I have ever seen. multiple options. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate my allergy. They have separate kitchens for allergies. We had a server named Wade that dealt with the regular menu for my husband and another server that dealt with allergies for myself.
