Ship Island was great. The fort was an interesting exhibit. The beaches were clean, and the water was clear. We did have some rain, but we were able to seek shelter under a pavillion until it passed and continued swimming afterward.

I never knew Mississippi had beaches. It is my first visit to the state, and I think it is super underrated. It is more a family oriented beach, didn't see anyone wild and out like the other places like South Padre and keywest.

The water is very dirty and murky due to silt from the Mississippi. But the biggest drawback is that the water only reaches just above your knees, even if you walk more than 50 feet. I don't see the point of this beach.

Great place to go relax and catch some sunshine. We always bring the family here for fun ,relaxing, and great bonding time. It's great place to have a picnic. You can play volleyball here. There's a firepit for burning wood. You can enjoy the water if the weather is right. If you turn the road you can see all kinds of classic vehicles. You can rent a dunebuggy , Trikes, pedal rafts with the big wheel, or bicycles. You can even rent a picnic table with an umbrella. All in all you can really have a great time with...

I really enjoy their beaches it's not like other beaches. They have a sidewalk with benches on it and then the beach and then the water. You don't have to walk a long ways from the sidewalk to the water. It's not like the sand in Florida it's a lot darker looking sand. And the water is not as clear as Florida. But overall it's a nice Beach to go and visit and enjoy a...
