Immersive Media Performing Arts Center (iMPAC) — Attraction in Gulfport

Saw Marcus King here last night. The acoustics were absolutely terrible. Could not hear Marcus sing AT ALL when the band was playing. If the band wasn’t playing, you could hear but even then there was an echo with every word. The guitar licks were all kind of muddy, not crisp and clear. IT WAS SO BAD. I’ve been looking forward to seeing Marcus King for so long and my wife and I left half way through the concert because the sound was so bad. So disappointed.

This may be a great venue for some artists or events, but it has the worst acoustics I’ve ever heard for a rock band. Will never come back for that...

They had a marching drum band at intermission that was remarkable.
