Subway — Restaurant in Gulfport

Let me say upfront.. I know this is not a Walmart employee, but I could not tag the Subway inside the Pass Christian Walmart & I wanted to be clear on where this took place. But this is a Walmart problem because this happened in their store. AT SUBWAY Came here today to get quick & tasty lunch before picking up a few things at Walmart ... I ordered a kid's sandwich meal for my 4 year old granddaughter, who is standing next to me and ordered a 6 inch sandwich for me. A young girl made the two and when I went to pay at the register the cashier asked me what I ordered and I told her. She said 'this is a six inch, not a kids' I said 'I ordered a kid's turkey on white' she told the 'manager', who was working the register, I did not order a kids meal, I ordered 2 6 inch sandwiches They lady behind even told them 'I heard her, she ordered a kid's meal'. The manager again asked the employee 'What did she order?' She again replied a six inch on white and a 6 inch on wheat'. They lady behind me again said 'why would she lie?'... I said 'I just want a kids meal turkey on white. I don't care what you do with that sandwich, but I want a kids Turkey on white.. By this time both sandwiches are already wrapped up of course. She took one of the sandwiches and cut it to the kid's sandwich specifications and discards what she cut off somewhere under the counter. No problem right? We get to the table to eat and I discover that she has cut the wrong sandwich... she cut mine. I took them both back up there to get it corrected. She cut my granddaughter's ... I handed her mine to remake and she pulled out the portion she cut off of it previously (from the trash can I am assuming) and put it in the wrapper and handed it back to me. I said 'you're going to need make me a new sandwich. I don't know where that came from and I'm not eating it'. All this in front of 'the manager'. The girl looked at manager and she said 'I'm just going to give you your money back since your not going to be happy' I looked at her and said 'Would you eat it? Would you??' No reply... While at the register, getting the refund for my sandwich I asked again.. 'Would you eat it? I don't know where that piece came from. Who is the manager?' That's when she revealed she was. I couldn't help but laugh. I got no receipt, no phone number to call to talk to someone above her. NOTHING EXCEPT ATTITUDE. She uttered one patronizing 'sorry' to which I replied 'No, I don't think you are'. It has taken me several hours to write this because I was so upset. I didn't want to spew spit and vinegar in my anger, I just wanted to write a review. I will never ever darken their doors again! A Walmart employee told me this 'manger's' name is Sue. I am cross posting this. **Since this incident Subway Corporate reached out to me. They were very 'upset' about the incident and assured me that the owner of that particular franchise would be contacting me within 3 days. 2 weeks later I told subway that no one ever contacted me and they told me again that the owner would be contacting me. Never happened.... About a week after that I learned the the STORE MANAGER HAD NO IDEA ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN HER STORE!!! And Sue, the the shift manager that was horrible to me during my incident is the owners sister in law. REALLY?? I'm done and will tell anyone who will listen about this...

My husband and I was on our way back from a doctor appointment.. and it was nearing dinnertime and we stopped by the subway right off the interstate the one getting off the long beach exit. I like this subway because the people there were very pleasant and friendly plus it was very clean and everything was toasted fresh and hot. Now not all subway places are clean.. and the food is not fresh. You have lazy supervisors, employees in every town. Some subway places it appears when they hire people ..I don't know where they get these people from. Now I know people have to work, but their are no excuses to look all jacked up serving the public. If you are going to service people at least fix your teeth, comb your hair, keep clean nails even if they're short. And you don't have to be the best looking person(handsome beauty gueen) but at least fix yourself up as the things I mentioned, before...

Came in on 6/14 and ordered 2 sandwiches. I think they had new employees or they were definitely having an off day. My sandwich only had 5 slices of turkey on a 12in sandwich. The steak 12in looked pretty weak too. The guy preparing my sandwich didn't even attempt to listen to the toppings I wanted. He put items on it I didn't ask for, didn't even try to close it before cutting it, then proceeded to smashed it together while wrapping it. When I got home all the dressing and toppings exploded into the deli sheet. It's not that hard to be a sandwich artist, and it wasn't busy, but my sandwich looked like someone drop kicked it and smashed it a few times. If the employees working would have actually listen to me this wouldn't have been my experience. I paid for the sandwiches and I left, no sense in wasting my breath trying to tell them they made my order wrong. Highly dissatisfied and...
