Batman: The Ride — Attraction in Gurnee

Note that this review will be of the Batman clone at Six Flags Great Adventure. I know they are all the same ride but I have heard they give different experiences. The one at Great Adventure certainly threw me for a loop. This was possibly the most intense invert I have ridden so far, and most people who haven't ridden it wouldn't think so because of its fairly small stature. What makes this ride intense is its tight compact layout. It has a small amount of space, so it is constantly throwing something at you left and right. There are no breaks. At every moment, there is an element hurdling towards you. One complaint the ride gets is that it's too compact, resulting in major headbanging. However if you just keep your head forward for the tight maneuvers, you should be fine. Trust me you'll need to. This ride can be rough if and jerky if not taken the proper precautions. This is one of the best inverted coasters I've ever been on. This ride is very whippy and quick. This was the first six flags ride I had ever been on. It was intimidating at first but once I went over the first loop chaos ensued and I knew I was in for a treat. You start off with a typical over the shoulder restraint, going up a chain lift, spiraling down, and an inverted loop. After that your pumped with adrenaline and start twisting and turning all over the place. It's pretty intense and there is one inversion that pulls on your legs and numbs them which was a pleasant suprised. My only con is that the warehouse that the line passes through is a sauna but that doesn't have anything to do with the ride itself. It's a good ride to transition from a family coaster to the giga and hyper coasters. Definitely a good middle ground.

Awesome and highly intense. This coaster has an awesome batman themed waiting line with a police car and the batcave is where the coaster and operators are. It has 4 different high g force elements including sharp turns so when you are on that ride from start to finish it is very fast and intense the whole time it is a coaster where the seats are below the track and you are strapped into a harness and there are 4 seats to a row. Often times at the end of the ride when it stops I'm dizzy for a little bit and some people's vision starts to gray out due to the intensity.
