As a ride, it's a pretty standard Arrow looper. The restraints are a bit uncomfortable and the ride's a bit rough at some points (especially the corkscrew), buy that's kind of the expectation you have to have going into these older rides. Besides that, still a pretty fun experience with the forceful first drop and loops!
Beyond that, this ride really excels beyond your standard, classic rollercoaster in its theming! Can't really think of any other Arrow looper like this with its cheesy disco theme song blaring through the qeue, interesting rockwork surrounding the ride, and tunnel elements with lighting effects to add to the experience (besides the replica of this ride that exists in this park's former sister park).
Overall, would definitely recommend this ride if you're checking out the park and the qeue isn't too long! Just be sure to brace yourself for the signature Arrow corkscrew at the end. Your head...
Read moreEven though this ride is a little rough in places, I enjoy this ride. The first half of the ride is rather smooth. The transition into the corkscrews is the roughest spot. That said, it is rather tame except for that spot, which makes it a good starting point for roller coasters that go upside down. Also, even though it does have that rough spot, I have to cut it some slack for being so old. I do think replacing the track for just that one spot would do a lot to help the ride. The other complaint I have is that the over the shoulder restraints are a little uncomfortable. I think that also has to do with how old they are. The foam is stiff, when I imagine it was originally soft to absorb the shock of the ride throwing your head into the restraints. Overall enjoyable, and also always has a short line (5-10 min...
Read moreI really like the Demon. It’s fun to sing Imperial March when you’re ascending and spout memes 24/7. Also, I wouldn't recommend you go on it if you're even vaguely nauseous because you get thrown around A TON for a steel coaster. I was ten the first time I went on it and I cried but I was also super afraid of heights back then. Now, I rode it eight times in a row and nearly passed out afterwards. I'm not an old geezer either (under 18 lol), so yeah. The first drop is the only vaguely scary part, but that's only a couple of seconds and it's over before you even have the chance to get scared. A solid 8/10 in my opinion, even though my old social studies teacher Mr. R describes it as a 'medieval torture device' and only half of the roller-coaster lovers I...
