I needed a place to get my hair washed and blown as I recently moved to the area...I went 2x and my my l hair ooked ok ..not the best blow out but good enough...I went the next time and asked if they could trim my bob hair cut....I speak Spanish so rather than say..'BOB" I said Paje...which means a page which was a term used years ago...they began to argue semantics with me: " we don't use that term anymore"..and the body language was squared off.....and it felt intentional so that I would feel unwelcomed...I could only think they they wanted customers who wanted color/cut/style....because time is money...OR I present too white and Amercian I am a Puerto Rican Jew and Cubans usually are drawn to me I tried to understand what their motive was..: was it money or prejuduce?...I am in my 60s and and in the 40 years I have been to hairdressrs this was the rudest experience....One of the rude women is usually in the front her hair( at the time) was dyed blonde and her hair is in a nice BOB cut....( she must have known what trim I wanted)..she is not Cuban,by the way....another possibility is that I have a lot of hair perhaps they were not confident ..but the antagonistic response was really unusual ,not professional....at all....I waited months before posting wonder if it is worth it..but each time I pass this Salon I recall it and how bad of an...

I called to make an appointment at 3pm for 6pm, was given an appointment and when I arrived at 6:01 I was not greeted at all, stood there for 12 minutes like a fool when finally a woman approached me, and immediately spoke Spanish to me, which doesn't bother me normally at all, but I was given a look to put someone 6 feet under when I said what? because unfortunately I can't speak Spanish. Then it was apparent my appointment was not written in the book, and then a gentleman walked over, asked me again when did I call to make the appointment and when was it for, stated the story again, and I was told "she" left. I didn't specify any certain person to cut my hair in the first place, so I'm not really sure who "she" was. Completely unprofessional, treated like dirt and very nasty staff. I can understand why this place is always dead. Go elsewhere... save yourself the aggravation I...

My stylist was “speaking” only Spanish redheaded lady .. she was mute the first 2 hrs no talking, ignoring and not explaining anything or try to bring someone to say something. Very bad customer service. Until it came to a point where I got upset, and asked for someone who speaks english, so I can ask what is coming up next, while laying down on the sync where she left me for half an hour. Than she said whats the matter, what do you need ... sooo rude, obviously speaking english!!
She had long nails and she pulled my hair sooo bad it was almost like she wanted to pull it on purpose!!
Than she start pulling me by the hair telling me I have to get closer to her, felt like this was done just to be petty. I was nothing but nice to her when I came in. Not sure if this was a race hate but it was outrageous. I have never seen anything like it, horrible customer...
