Park is still under construction as of 06/01/24 Parking here is horrible.like packed sardines and if you have a travel trailer you can only park the trailer in the spot you were given. You must go and park your vehicle up by the "office". Btw the "Office" you check in is a 5th wheel that the park host lives in so no real office per say. Also NO bathrooms to wash off if you go out to the beach. Extremely beautiful scenery and great access to the beach BUT you can't use your outdoor shower either. Park host seems very selective on who he chooses to enforce park rules.(also pointed out by other fellow campers)He is vey engaged in the park does walk around several times of the day if he sees anything that he doesn't like he will notify you. He is friendly to regulars others not so much.Good military discount 👌 The outside of the park gets very busy and full of of surfers crossing the street to surf and the 🏄‍♂️ is great!! Watch out for the water out there!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The toughest part of staying here, is always the day we have to pack up and leave!😉 For the past 4 years, this has become our Go-To spot to unwind and enjoy amazing coastal views. It’s located within walking distance to the beach, harbor and great restaurants and breweries. Our personal favorite is the walking/biking trail in front of the park and along the beach. There is so much to love about staying at Pillar Point RV. From the scenic ocean views and great park amenities, to the amazing and helpful camp hosts and manager! Trudy & Rhonda are the other bonuses to staying here! They are friendly, accommodating and always willing to help solve any problems that may arise! They really take pride in keeping the park nice, clean and beautiful. Above all, they’ve always made us feel welcomed. They are a big reason why we keep coming back!🥰 Pillar Point RV has truly become one of our happy places.❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's a Great location However the traffic is horrible and we didn't sleep well any of the nights we were there. Spots are tight if you get the back row it's literally 5 feet from the lane for highway 1. There is also some fog alert or something that beeps every few minutes 24-7 so that also keeps you awake. Otherwise it would of been the perfect place on the water and close to restaurants. Funny thing is we went to this park to relax and catch up on sleep as we just worked 7 weeks straight not a day off and now we are leaving here more exhausted and tired then we were when we checked in 🤦‍♀️ other than that staff was nice park is clean

DO NOT COME HERE! EVER!

First day we arrived, within 10 minutes the host had already walked over to us 4 times asking us to hurry and pay. He said it was ‘almost 7pm’. Their site says checkin is until 9pm so I’m not sure what his problem was.

There are NO amenities here! The only thing they have is a bathroom and good luck finding the key for that! They have the RV hookups but the so-called cable didn’t work at all for us, the 3 days we were there! Not one single channel. The road noise is bad no matter where you park, ‘partial view’ or ‘beach view’. And FYI, Partial View, should be called, ‘view of 25 other motorhomes, with ocean sounds in the background’.

The second night we payed the $20 extra and moved to a ‘beach view’ Spot to get away from the road noise. The sounds from the highway were almost just as loud. The hostess ran over, again, to make sure we knew we had to pay the additional $20 for the spot. As the person next to us tried to back into their spot she talked badly about them and touted that she could easily get in and do it for them but ‘they need to learn’. Seemed she loved to talk about herself and only whatever she wanted to talk about, but nonstop. And her tiny little dog barked nonstop. We heard it ALL MORNING/DAY! Everyday! And a warning to the ‘beach view’ people that still go here despite this review, the smell of bird droppings are extremely strong on that $20 more expensive, beach view spot.

The third day, she walked up to our motorhome before 9:30am hounding us about whether we were staying or going. Just so everyone knows, Checkout isn’t until 12pm. I’m not sure she is aware. If we’re still there at 12pm, then come over and ask for payment-otherwise, let people be! I don’t vacation/camp to be constantly nagged/talked at, by a stranger that seems to love to hear herself speak.

This hostess cares only about money. She must be lonely because she does not leave you alone. Between the road noise, the hostess nagging, her dog constantly barking, and the complete lack of amenities—this place is a waste of money. If you’ve got the gas, you’d be better off parking in the back of a parking lot and turning your generator on!

Don’t waste your time or money. Keep your Peace of mind by staying...

  • VETERANS BEWARE A USMC vet here to tell you exactly what these folks are all about- money. It’s not to deliver a quiet, relaxing environment free from hassle. No, it’s about the hosts constant quest for another nickel. She’s a petty, petulant female of the lowest caliber. Allow me to describe our experience. 1.The place is a glorified parking lot, period!! The road noise is so bad, it kept my entire family up all night. 2. When the wind turns, the smell of Seal and Gull waste is so foul, it will make you gag. 3. The host has a lap dog that she keeps in a cage outside of her door all day that does nothing but bark. If you mention this to her, as the owner she acts like she could care less.4.The host is at your door every morning and every evening, she doesn’t have the class to allow you any peace. Greed is this trolls motivating factor. Having a generator fail on us on our third night there, I had to run over the mountain to San Leandro the next morning to have it replaced. I expressed this to her that morning and she even assisted me with the barricade stating the spot was taken. However, upon my return, this low class trash comes to me and says she sold my unit because I hadn’t paid by noon that day. Now, keep in mind, I spoke to her that morning describing my plans, she had my card on file and she also had my phone number yet, never called. So, because she could get more money from another guest, she sold our spot out from under us. She did this to a Marine with a 10 YO little girl that had guitar lessons planned for her that night as a surprise. Couple that with the fact we had NO generator and needed the power until ours could be replaced Monday. She knew all of this and did NOT care. I would never normally say this but, she is a POS. A slovenly little miscreant whom cares only about herself and nothing of others. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs- you’ll...

The view is fantastic. 100 yards or less from the Ocean and if you get the right spot, you look directly out. Jetty has a great beach facing the harbor for kids, etc. First come first served. Check with host on arrival, or first thing in the morning. Space is wide, about enough for your RV and a car parked next to it. My 30ft RV fits in just right, longer may have issues, or be strategic in parking. Hookups are per-space and include cable hookups. Though I've not tested the cable. The 'wifi' is there, but sketch so don't count on it for work or streaming. Location is walking to restaurants (couple hundred yards or so to closest) and longer walk to a Safeway (couple miles). If you have bikes makes for for nice rides. Garbage on site, no showers, use your own bathroom. Other RV folks that come here are generally really friendly and I like the atmosphere better than the state park down the way. From invites to BBQ to walking around with Jello Shots, the folks that come are so awesome. Host interactions varied a bit, but generally they're easy to get along with. First Host helped me get positioned perfectly in my spot and was super helpful. Another Host got a little testy when I came in late and the neighbor (who was well over into my space) complained about the backup noise... (What?!) The last time I was there the Host was kind to run interference with her next RV when we unexpectedly had a nightmare dead battery scenario. The neighbor helped get us started. Again, this spot attracts great RV...
