30 years ago this place was a trash filled dump and the main wildlife was crack heads. A lot of people put in a great deal of hard work and now this is an absolutely beautiful place. There are lots of short hiking trails around the lakes and creek, great fishing, and a great place to canoe or kayak (the creek is tidal so you need to be careful). You can see tons of wildlife. A lot of rare birds, turtles, snakes, and many species of fish. There is plenty of parking, a nice picnic area with grills for a family lunch. There is also a lot of historical significance to this place for you nerds out there. Many great trails to explore and wild life that you will see (keep an eye out for the snakes!) something interesting lies on each trail you will walk like makeshift bridges and the white city stairs. You could honestly spend a whole day walking all these trails if you really wanted to, but I wouldn’t advise it because you will be tired after walking...
