I had never heard of this store until I visited; three years ago. I had furniture and was only looking for a rug. The Habitat store had a huge selection of nice rugs, but Ollies was better organized. Fast forward to 2023 and the Habitat store changed dramatically. The furniture was better and the prices were still good; the rugs are practically gone. But, the savvy shopper will find exceptional pieces. I purchased a new recliner because it was super comfortable, leather and on sale. Once home I researched and found I had purchased a La-z-boy Haven chair. Incredible. Now I needed a matching chair for comfort. Two weeks ago I visited and found another gem. This one was a Pottery Barn Cameron chair and again, a bargain. Yes corporate makes donations and they get huge tax breaks, but I too got a break on a wonderful comfortable chair. You can park right in front once you are ready to pick up your items( if you need a car). I purchased a lovely lamp too. You have to visit regularly if you are looking for furniture or bedding; they did have many hotel quality towels; white quilts and they still have sheet sets. The habitat has residential donations and corporate donations. If you have a home, they now have plumbing, some hvac stuff; nuts bolts, appliances, sinks, coffee tables, some patio items. It is air conditioned and the staff is accommodating; will assist with movement of pieces to vehicle. I have purchased three sturdy, chairs( 1 Laze-boy & 2 Pottery Barn ).

If you are looking to make some improvements to your home, I recommend visiting a few of the Restore locations. If you are an investor, this is the go-to store! They have an excellent paint selection. There is a wide range of colors to choose from, but what is nice is they only have about 20 or so colors to choose from, which makes life a little easier. They carry flooring tiles, hardwood flooring, carpet, and kitchen tiles. They used to have a ridiculous amount of throw carpeting in all sizes. The rugs would be piled five feet high and the length of a football field. It can be a hit or a miss, depending on their recent donations, but the prices are worth the trip. They carry light fixtures, bathroom vanities, and toilets. They have a variety of windows and doors. If you need “staging furniture,” I would encourage you to check their inventory. The furniture is primarily higher-end, stylish furniture. There is a mix of used and new available. There is always a vast selection of wall decorations. They get their inventory from overstocked companies, so it is 100% profit for them. The best thing is knowing that profit will help local families in need of housing. . .

This one star is for the employee Gia who upon entering the store was jumping off of an industrial sized scaffold landing on a pile of rugs then encouraging the other employee to do the same! We enjoyed the store for what it was until we were on our way out. Gia then trampled over my 4 year old son at the exit door (accidents happen), Instead of asking if he is okay she made the comment “you need to watch your kids”.. pretty bad when customers are apologizing for her! After a heated couple minutes she left off saying my children were in everyone’s way our entire visit.. needless to say this employee is the worst representation of what this company is supposed to stand for!!

Horrible! Worst HFH ReStore! Major disappointment. Don't waste your time. Prices are ridiculously expensive. Almost nothing is priced. Very small store. Been to a few HFH Restores in the area and they were all so much better than this store. Other locations have better prices, all items are priced, stores are bigger, better organized, and much cleaner. Went to location in Langhorne last week and purchased over 30 items. Found so many great items for great prices. Went to Hamilton location yesterday and did not get anything. Was going to purchase a dining room ceiling light until I asked the price. The employee looked the item up online and took the full retail price and reduced by 40% which would be an OK price if item was brand new in a retail store but a horrible price for an open box item with unknown condition in a HFH ReStore. The price would be half what I was told at any other HFH ReStore. They also have signs that say do not open boxes or take anything out of a box but they do not have one of the item out of the box so you can see what it looks like. Whoever is running the Hamilton location is doing a horrible job and should be replaced. Store was a major disappointment and a total waste of my time. Go to the location in Langhorne. Much better store, better prices, better selection, more organized and much cleaner, and everything has a...

Prices are much too high for furniture. Higher than any other ReStore in region (other than Maple Shade as that is their sister store). Unlike many ReStores that sell mostly used items (except Langhorne now getting Target stuff), they get the majority of merchandise from Wayfair and they price it by asking for 50% of retail price. To some, that may seem like a good deal, but that results in most items being out of reach for people who have trouble affording furniture. Might as well go to a discount furniture store or get a clearance deal directly from Wayfair at that point. The biggest problematic thing is that they try to sell broken furniture for high prices, like over 300 for mirrored dressers with broken mirrors or over 600 for vanities with broken tops. Sofas often have broken legs, torn fabric, or are random pieces of sectionals, yet they price them at several hundred dollars. None of these are easy fixes or dings that can be ignored.

For reference, the store is a big open area (used to be TJMaxx) and carries mostly sofas, rugs (best deal in the house), bathroom vanities, some other furniture, and a minimal amount of fixtures. There is no hardware or appliance section (have to go to their Maple Shade main branch for that).

Habitat is a good cause but this affiliate should spend some time rethinking about serving their mission with the...
