I’ve been training with Joe for over 6 months now, 3 times a week. Honestly, before working with him, I was never big into fitness—hated the gym, workouts always felt like a chore, and I wasn’t seeing much change. That flipped when I started personal training with Joe.
What makes Joe different is his energy. The guy shows up every session with positive vibes, keeps it real, and actually makes the workouts something I look forward to. He’s not just throwing random exercises at you—he knows his stuff inside and out. Joe put me on a solid personal training plan to bulk up, and for the first time, I don’t look like the skinny guy anymore. Strength’s up, confidence is up, and mentally I’m sharper—ready to take on whatever comes my way.
The gym itself is solid too. Iron Culture’s got everything you need—none of the extra fluff like saunas or daycare centers—just real equipment, a serious crowd, and a focus on getting results.
Also, if you’re smart about it, grab one of the bulk personal training packages. They’re always raising prices on training, and locking in a package locks in your rate. The more sessions you book, the cheaper the rate gets. Plus, they’re flexible—helped me big time when I had to head down to Miami for a stretch. I was able to pick back up when I got back without losing any sessions.
If you’re looking for a personal trainer who knows his craft, keeps you dialed in, and skips all the TikTok coach nonsense—Joe’s your guy. Highly recommend for anyone serious about getting stronger, looking better, and...

I travel to NJ often for work, and only here for a few weeks at a time. Iron culture is the gym is a good place to get a workout in, the members are friendly, and the options of equipment is spectacular.
I'd rather support a small local business rather than a larger chain, and they're doing it right.
Vibes, music, people, rugged feel.
Unfortunately, the gym can get kind of busy at peak hours, which is to be expected. With all the equipment options, sometimes you have to navigate tight paths to get to your next station, but it's a trade off. The facilities are alright, changeroom can get kind of crowded.
And there's only one water station (which sometimes needs filter replacements, or else it's super slow).
You won't find a gym better than this, and if I was local, I'd have a membership without a doubt. They have flexible options for One month, or a 10-pack of workouts, which is my go-to.
Excited to visit their new (3rd) location...

The gym itself is a 3/10 - it has a decent amount of equipment, but it's pretty cramped. It get's really hot sometimes and the AC is bad.
The music is terrible and they blast it, so you have to yell to hear other people and you can't really listen to your own music even with noise cancelling headphones. When I step outside, my ears are ringing.
The membership fee is WAY more than it's worth. Check out Blink in Parsippany - it's like $15 a month vs $70+ here. Way bigger, no painfully loud music, good AC, more squat racks, etc.
The worst part is they charged me for an extra month even when they agreed the day I signed up to only charge me for 2 months. I even called them a few days ago to make sure they won't be charging me. He gave me a hard time about it but eventually gave in, but looks like he was lying. What kind of...
