Morris County Library — Attraction in Hanover Township

My favorite Library by far. Huge. Hosts events and movie nights. They have everything. You can even borrow paintings. Lots of seating. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I have had issues with the internet (which is unfortunate) and there arent the most outlets, so I wouldnt call it the best place to work/study unless you are doing it pen/paper style or have a very good battery on your laptop. Best place to find tons of books and read the whole stack in a comfy...

I contacted those in charge of curating/selecting the books/movies to make a request and they could care less to even remotely consider my input. They were too lazy to respond until I contacted the head of library and I basically got told I’m at the mercy of their opinions and what they want. Therefore, my tax dollars are wasted by someone getting paid a yearly salary to slack off and buy whatever they just think...

Very accommodating staff. Library recently added new study desks. It would be a great place to study... BUT.. if you need Internet access.. forget about it. Very poor wifi and equally poor cell phone reception. Sometimes you can log on, sometimes not. I was told the teens section is better. As an old man, I'm not hanging out in the teens section. Bottom line, if you absolutely need Internet...
