Bought chicken fajita meat with peppers and onions, mixed together. The veggies were moldy, called up there to tell them and get a refund, but they refused! I called the health dept to let them know! Disgusting- obviously they don’t check their products or date them. Nasty! The employee most certainly refused, to refund the money! I spoke to the owner at 5:04 pm, she lied and said the employee told us to bring in the product in to show them, which she never did! We have witnesses that heard the entire conversation. The employee not only refused to refund us, but told me to call the health dept! The owner was mad that I posted this review and again refused to refund our money. I did file with the FDA and the health dept. which I also followed up requesting an insight inspection. I also reported it to the state against their business license! You shouldn’t lie about your customers and do not sell bad food. Yes the health dept had me safe the food! We also never said a while ago! Those words never came out of my mouth! Thank Goodness for witnesses! Also, the owner stated that since I posted the bad review and filed complaints, she refused to give me a refund! Well in Indiana there is a law that protects consumers from retaliation for leaving a bad honest review! In Indiana, the "Consumer Review Fairness Act" protects individuals from retaliation by a business for posting honest reviews, even negative ones, on platforms like online review sites; essentially, a business cannot penalize you for leaving a bad review, as this is considered a protected activity under...

I used to absolutely love this place, I would come here all the time for food . Order take out, get fresh meat from deli I have spent a good amount of money here. Then I ordered one night and my order was completely messed up when I got home. I drove over 10minutes. Then I called them back, oh yeah that was my mistake bring it back. So I drive the food back not very happy about it. Then they offer to give me a free meal next time I come in. Didn't give me a time frame nothing like that. So I don't eat here every night I work long hours. So I decided one night to call and use my free meal. Well they just so happen to throw my name in the garbage "that day" what a coincidence. And said I was informed that I have a month to use it . Now first of all it wasn't no month from the last time I ordered and NOBODY not a single person had informed me I had to use it in a time frame. And then just hung up the phone. Im very disappointed in them how they handled it, when it was their fault to begin with messing up my order. I haven't been back and have passed on the word how I got did...

A good Mexican grocery store with an exceptional butcher counter. I go there to buy their marinated skirt steak, which is outstanding. Of the items you can find in the large grocery store chains like Strack's or Jewel, they are more expensive, but they carry a bigger selection. They also carry fresh food and Mexican bakery items. In addition to the grocery store, they also have a separate Mexican restaurant, which I would rank a bit better than average. Their Mexican omelet was very good as were the beans and rice, but their Mexican coffee was blah and their salsas weren't very spicy hot. Even their pickled jalapeños (which I think they pickle themselves) weren't that hot nor very pickled. I've got tastier pickled jalapeños that I bought at Jewel sitting in my fridge at home.
