Futules' Harmar House Wedding and Event Center — Attraction in Harmar Township

We had our daughter (& new son-in-laws) wedding reception at Futules's Harmar House on 12/29/18 for a little less than 200 people. There wasn't one thing to complain about! As others have said, Nick was upfront & honest with the cost, which certainly was very reasonable for all that we got! Linen table coverings & our choice of colored linen napkins, china place settings & silver flatware, glass water goblets & drinking glasses, (no plastic here!), fabric chair covers (which most other venues charge for), our choice of assorted centerpieces, little white lights illuminating the bridal, cookie & food tables, the staff prepares the cookie tables, boxes up the little cake boxes, unbelievable hor d'oeuvres before dinner, EXCELLENT food, which we had many choices to choose from, parent tables were served, including champagne for the bridal toast, cookie boxes provided for guest to take cookies home, top shelf liquor, excellent bartenders, shuttle service in their comfortable & roomy van, (Tony was the best) & absolutely NO cleanup afterward! We chose not to have the "money dance" but were told that the shots would have been included as well! All this & the leftover food is perfectly packed up for pick up the next day and so were the decorations we had! Nick never once complained about any of the changes we made and was absolutely always friendly, courteous & professional. Our friends & family are still telling us how impressed they were with the wedding venue, the food, the drinks....everything, and that it was one of the best weddings they ever attended! Nick & Tony, you made us look good but in reality, it was Futules's Harmar House that helped our daughter have the wedding reception of her dreams! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The owner, Nick, won me over with the all inclusive price per guest but I was quickly bamboozled for additional, baseless costs. My 5.5 hour open bar was only four hours-- including 12 guests who don't drink alcohol at all (including myself). He still charged us for a full, top shelf bar. Nick micro-managed everything with wedding-- hovering over me like a passive aggressive father. My husband and I paid cash, paying in full the morning before the wedding.
