You can only get there by watercrafts, so why should care about Allegheny State Park? Well, it holds the supports for the PA Turnpike and the Bessemer Railroad Bridge. (See first picture from the Turnpike bridge and a second picture showing supports from the ground level). Also, if you like exploring really undeveloped land, this is your place.
