River Access Parking Lot — Attraction in Harpers Ferry

Ideally, this is my preferred parking lot of choice when visiting the park. If finding a spot, the town is about a 10-15 minute walk away. To ensure you secure a parking space, it's advised to arrive early as the lot will fill up quickly given the its size of 30 spaces. Almost always full on Saturdays and Sunday unless arriving early and part of Harpers Ferry National Historical Park the River Access Parking Area requires an NPS Pass or a digital payment along with ones license plate to park. Nice parking area located close to the national park (maybe .5 miles).

I arrived early on a Sunday morning around 7:30 and there was plenty of parking! You are supposed to pay $20 to park via an envelope in a little box but I'm not sure how enforced that is. I have a national park pass so I didn't worry about it.
