Rangers were really helpful and pleasant. Well maintained trails and clean bathrooms. Free trail/town map. Plenty of parking on a beautiful September morning. Lower staffing levels are evident so that was a bit sad to see in light of all of the NPS staff who were fired. What a stupid cost saving method: lower staff = no one to take our $20 to park or $10+ for souvenirs….. Would love to see the fired...

Aunque el pueblo es muy bonito, y además se encuentra en la frontera con el estado de maryland, rodeado de muchísima naturaleza, es un pueblo que básicamente se ha focalizado en el turismo, lo que hace que pierda mucho atractivo. Aunque te fuercen a usar el autobús del parque, si no vas a aparcar puedes acceder directamente en el coche que es lo que yo hice y recomendaría hacer, para evitar esperas y sobretodo en días de calor con bastante humedad como el que hizo...
