Nice little beach area. We actually were driving to the lands end gift shop area and saw this place as we were driving by. We turned around and checked it out. Glad we did, great view.

There is limited parking but the time we were there it was relatively empty, only about 8 other people in the area. This year there is a lot of seaweed washed up on the shore but that was everywhere we went. The beach was clean except for that.

There were quite a few boats anchored there which was a really nice...

Beautiful place to visit! My fiancé and I had never been to this island and decided while we were there for a wedding to take some time and explore. We came upon this lovely beach where we got to look out where a bunch of boats are moored and the sun reflected off the stunning scene! We took a good amount of time to find some beach glass and look through some of the really neat shells that washed up on the shore! This place is a...

Never can get enough of this place. Mackerel Cove is one of the most picturesque places in Maine. This park is small but it's a public space that allows you to park, picnic and take in the fantastic views. Also a wonderful perspective to photograph the the cove with an unobstructed view at water level. So hang out for a while and enjoy the open...

Small, free, local spot to find sea glass and relaxation. It's a cove so there's ocean water and lobster boats. Wonderful photo ops. Good accessibility if you're fully ambulatory, not great access if you're handicapped. No bathrooms, though you could drive down to Land's End if necessary to use their porta potty.

Easy parking. Excellent gem for enjoying the shore, beach, and watching the fishing boats. Great picnic location, although no trash cans and no restrooms. We loved it! Check out our video on our experience on Hammocks to Coasters on YouTube.
