While we did not go inside, I wanted to review this location and let others know about an annual event. A Walk to Remember our Fallen takes place on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. This 5k is an opportunity to support a local Centre County organization that provides care packages for deployed service members. We participated in the second annual walk, you can register online or come the day up and sign up. There are local and state military organizations for Veterans and survivor’s families in attendance. It is a deeply moving occasion that should not be missed. The grounds of the Museum provide for a beautiful back drop.

Lots of cool facts to learn in this museum! They're are amazing examples of both armored and unarmored vehicles and weapons from all of the major wars. There are plenty of memorials along the walking trails outside and beautiful nature along these trails, in general it is just a beautiful environment. My only complaint would be that some of the information boards outside are unreadable because of how worn they are, but other than that the place is nice and well kept. The staff are also very nice and helpful.

This museum is a great place to have a brief idea about history of Pennsylvania and its contributions to independence war, civil war, both world wars etc. Some interesting military equipment from late 19th century through second world war are exhibited. We were told that those equipments are subject to rotation with different artifacts from other museums. Thus, it would be nice to visit at least once a year when you come for Penn State football matches.

The first thing you see is a big park, great for exercising, relaxing, walking, etc. Being right along Boal Avenue, the location is super easy to find. There are plenty of parking spaces off to the side of the park and more to the back of the museum. There are old tanks and cannons to see in the park as well. I had the opportunity to explore the museum during a scouting event. There are so many exciting things to learn about the history of the Boalsburg community, the property as a military venue, and the history of the US military. The layout is inviting and well thought through. We were given a tour - both inside and outside of the museum. They explained everything we saw in an engaging way and with great detail. I'm not sure if they offer tours regularly. The museum is worth a visit. If you are interested in the military and/or history you should...

I didn't have a problem with the park and outside area of the museum. However, I didn't have an issue with the inside either, but I normally stick outside with my dog (she's not allowed inside). I only give it four stars, because recently I went into the museum to have a picture looked at by one of the people in there. To my surprise, the man was COMPLETELY disrespectful towards my item. He was wiping his spit on my picture and even went as far as to say "wElL yOu WoNt bE aBlE tO gO oN tHe AnTiQuE roAd sHoW wiTh ThIs NoW wIlL yOu." I've had such a terrible experience with that man, that I will never step foot in that...
