Told me it would 2-3 hours to install a remote start, took 2 days, where he never called to update despite telling me he would. Then it didn't even get done, and my car ended up with nonfunctional interior lights and no remote start.

I was only "call constantly" when we entered day 2. I dropped the car off saturday, called ONCE, on my way there to make sure it was ready. Was then told that not only was it not ready, they needed a valet key and another 2+ hours. I called at 8 times between 2 and 6 pm because I wanted to know if they were because every time I asked, it was always "oh just another hour or so." The dropping off was something HE OFFERED because I had been waiting for multiple hours only for him to tell me it wouldn't be done. The lights were working perfectly fine when I took it in. There is a master control for the lights on my dash, where they were working. They no longer work. So yes, it was caused by them as they were only ones to touch the thing for nearly 36 hours Oh, and to add to the calling thing. They literally never called to give me an update. He told me he would call when the part was in. He didn't. I had to call the day before I took it in to verify. He told me he would call when it was done, which i guess he followed through because they never finished it. Conveniently, every time I called him to ask for an update, it was always "I was just about to call you to talk about it." Huh.... once? Ok, twice, maybe. Every time? Nah, dude, you're just trying to cover your own ass. I've scrolled through the previous one stars, and conveniently, he always seems to have an excuse as to why it's the reviewers fault... makes one wonder, are all these customers really wrong, or is he just making it seem...

They never contacted me at all to schedule and appt. I called them 1 week later and they said the equipment was not in yet. I called several more times and they just gave me the run around, Saying they’ve been busy. It’s been 2 weeks since I paid for service and they still haven’t contacted me. I called them yesterday again and told them to give me a date for installation. He didn’t even know what I bought, he has to ask me several times. He gave me the run around again and said they could do it on Sunday. (2 Days later) he would call me the next day by noon to confirm. Never received a call so I sent a text message asking for a full refund. He called me immediately and gave me more excuses and once again asked me what I was supposed to have installed. He then asked me again when a good time for installation was. I said, I thought you were installing it tomorrow and he came back with “I can install next weekend” 8 days from now. I got off the phone with him and told him I would text him. I sent an another text requesting a full refund and he responded and said “we can do it sooner” I then asked him if I could pickup the equipment as I was having someone else install it. He once again asked me what I bought. I decided to not respond as they obviously don’t have the equipment and they aren’t going to install. This place took my money and never gave me the equipment or installed anything!! I asked several times for my money back with no response. It’s pretty sad they have to steal peoples hard earned money. I have reported them to the appropriate people. Please be aware of this...
   Read moreI’ve had nothing but great experiences with this shop. Mark is awesome to speak with and very knowledgeable. He’s done me great on price both times I’ve been there. The first time was for a Sony double din XAC5500 and the second time was just this past week for a pair of kicker 3.5” and 5.25” for my Corvette. I’ll be giving them a call in about an hour when they open to see about getting a head unit for the corvette also. For me to shop here speaks volumes because I can’t lie I was best friends with Rick Spade in high school. I actually showed him how to hook up his first amplifier. Rick and I are like brothers still to this day and his mom and pops are my second mom and pops. Rick knows he’s my family and he also knows that sometimes he don’t have what I’m needing at his shop and he’s ok with me seeking out other small business owners to get what I’m after. Trust me Rick and his family are all about supporting local small businesses . I worked for his dad growing up who owned a small business doing concrete work. So anyways listen to what I’m saying here and support your local small businesses. If you want the ability to run down the street and talk to a knowledgeable human about what your needs are and then get what you want right then and there usually cheaper than the guys online that aren’t paying the overhead that our local folks are paying you will start shipping local and supporting wonderful shops such as this one.
