Fine Gold — Attraction in Hartford

Very unethical/dishonest with the pricing of there Gold they preyed on my ignorance. I purchased a 10k necklace with a Jesus pendant altogether weighing at 7.9 grams of WG/Yellow they charged me 430 saying it was a Good deal so I grabbed it to later find out it was 10k and not 14k which I initially thought I was getting he said they were giving me a deal on the 14k for 530 with same weight and than suggested the 10k cheaper option but not informing me it was 10k just that it was less weight and a different cut (diamond cut) . I liked how it looked so i grabbed it thinking it was 14k just with less weight and a different cut not that it was 10k but that’s my fault for not checking it so I’ll bite that bullet. After doing research I realized that so called deal I was getting from them made me overpay more than double the value of the necklace worth. So the reason I say they are unethical is because you don’t lie to people and say they are getting a good deal when you are actually overcharging them more than double the value of that Gold just because they are a novice to buying gold. I understand you have to make money but you could of sold me it for $300 and still make $100 profit you literally charged me more than double the market value of that Gold and sat there and called it a great deal you don’t have to lie to make a quick sale you could of educated me and explained why you price your gold at the prices you do but that would expose the way you rip-off people for a profit so I guess it’s better if you didn’t. Lesson learned I would not recommend buying Gold from here unless you want to pay for 1 necklace at the price of 2 and a half necklaces and get told it’s a deal. I came in with my great grandmother 14k gold necklace that means a lot to me, to be fix and I came in with the link that popped off. When I came back in I examined my necklace and found that they did not reconnect my link that I provided. And had the nerve to raise his voice and say “that’s $10 that’s old problem we fix this for you”.showing me a different spot the chain broke before and that they had fixed before with sliver! I told him I showed the other guy and he saw it and I gave him my link. And that guy said “yeah you bring in the link.” The older man yelled again “that’s old problem $10.” I thought my necklace would be fixed since I went to them before, but instead they robbed me!! The so called “fix” was them using sliver to connect it back together. My chain is 14k gold and they used sliver to close it up Crazy!!! Take pictures before you bring anything here so you have proof! Lesson learned never go to this place to fix your chain or anything at all!!!! And take pictures of your items before handing it off to scam...

I paid $10 for my haribone chain to get repaired and the man wrote that I owed $10. Therefore, when I went to retrieve my gold chain they tried to charge me an additional $10. I kindly requested that they review the camera from 10/23/18 @ 4pm when I paid for my chain and they refused. I kindly asked again if they have a camera and they ignored me, and when I asked a 3rd time i was shoed away by the man who wears his glasses on his nose and told to just pay the $10, because it would take him 4 to 5 hours to review the camera. I then called the Hartford Police Department and had to wait an hr and a half in my car for them to not show. Do not spend your hard earned money here, ecspecially if you are of color.
