GameStop — Attraction in Hartford

DO NOT trust same-day home delivery from this store. I ordered a Nintendo Switch at noon and was told it would be delivered by 8 pm, and that I would receive regular text updates to let me know the progress. By 8:30 I had still received no updates, and the status of my order on the website was “waiting for delivery pick-up at the store.” When I reached out to customer service, they told me that the order had already been picked up 2 hours before and that I just needed to be patient, and that if I needed to reach out again, to connect with DoorDash, who was handling the delivery. 2 more hours later (10:30 pm) I have still heard nothing and received nothing. When I contacted DoorDash, they told me they were not able to look up the order because it was placed through GameStop. When I contacted GameStop again, they told me it was just a “failed delivery” and there was nothing they could do besides refund the order, which would take 3 days (probably more because it’s a holiday weekend). So essentially, someone claimed my purchase, and stole it, and neither GameStop had any means of tracking it. How is this a viable business model????? How is this good customer service????? Awful and incredibly disappointing, will definitely be making the actual purchase of the Switch somewhere else. Please do not advertise services you cannot...

Bought a $20 Xbox 360 controller, I used my monthly $5 membership coupon on it so it came to $15, put batteries in it and it wouldn’t turn on, I returned it and was only given $15 and told that my coupon wasn’t coming back bc I had alr used it, like hello?!?!? Y’all sold me broken stuff how am I at fault, when asked why the have broken controllers I was told they don’t test anything when they buy in it’s at customer risk, this is GameStop not a thrift store r y’all joking, so now I’m down two trips to GameStop, lost my coupon I only get once a month, and have no controller, y’all have lost a loyal customer and member today, this GameStop is NOT worth risking ur hard earned $ at they don’t test the electronics they buy in, I’ll be speaking to cooperate for my coupon back and I will never bring my business to this run down should be closed permanently GameStop ever again, embarrassing...

Very nice store! Went to there the other day and unfortunately the store closed early at 6, there were still people in there and it was only 6:20 so I stood out side looking for a number to call cause I just had a order to pick up, and before I knew it the manger opened the door and said "hi we are closed but is there something you really needed" and I explained I just needed a order pick up and it took me 30 mins to get to there, she was very nice let me in let me pick up my order and we even had a conversation about work and how it is working at GameStop, could not be happier with my service! The manger and the other worker was very nice and welcoming and they really didn’t need to help me but they did. Will definitely try to stop at this GameStop...
