Northern Stage — Attraction in Hartford

Just saw Come From Away at Northern Stage - what a fantastic performance! Top notch acting, singing, choreography and music in a comfortable and well-designed venue. Truly in my top ten theater experiences (I’m a theater fan). I used to attend performances at Northern Stage back in the 1990s but this was my first since then - they have always been good, but this performance edged up into excellent. What a treasure here in Vermont! Highly recommend. My husband & I will be buying season passes going forward. And White River Junction is surprisingly fun - several interesting restaurants...

This place is such a gem! For a community as small as ours to have such excellent theater is beyond lucky. The productions are varied and thoughtful, from kid-pleasing musicals to thought-provoking contemporary plays. And honestly, there's not a single bad seat in the house, thanks to the design of the place. Whether you're a lifelong local or just in town for the weekend, it's worth coming in for a show! This is a great place to see a live theater show! We have attended every show at Northern Stage over the past 3 years and have never once been disappointed. The quality of their shows is exceptional, in an intimate theater where every seat is up close to the action onstage. The service is also great in the box office, and the theater's education programs are numerous.
