Read moreMarsha was one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. I had multiple sale items and not everything was rung up correctly when I asked about it I received rolled eyes and in the snottiest voice I’ve ever had to deal with well do you want me to just start over and that wasn’t what I wanted but she did it anyways. Then the total was 4$ cheaper when it was rang up the second time. I didn’t have a lot of money and was keeping track on my phone so I didn’t go over but I started a new job so I needed new clothes. Had I known I was going to ruin someone’s day by trying to get clothes for work I would have gone else where. Then my friend checks out right behind me and I wanted my receipt so I could leave and my friend says can she have her receipt so she can leave and she rolls her eyes and proceeds to tell her “she is a different one” that’s extremely unwarranted and derogatory when she just wanted to pay for her two items and leave.
Also I had brought out my card to be stamped would of been my 14th stamp no she argues w me and re stamps one that was already stamped so she store money out of my pocket because I could of gotten my 40 percent off.
I will be posting this review in multiple locations and reaching out to the store manager. Marsha...
Read moreIt's hit or miss w/this location. Some days and employees are better than others. Today was not a good day. Greeted rudely by an older drop off lady who said we couldn't donate working bike unless we put pedals/seat back on. Ended up going home & coming back w/bike. She wouldn't let us leave it there and come back, nope. Had to load it twice. If she's there I'll donate elsewhere even if I have to drive. Unfortunately shopping is scarce in Hartford and this is the only thrift store here so I'll only go if I absolutely have to. There were other employees that were much nicer but you don't remember those, you always remember the rude ones. This is a charity and they should act with kindness, gentleness and respect to support their mission. If not, then it's no different than any other store and there's not much reason to support their mission if the employees don't feel compelled to support it in the...
