Urban L Salon — Attraction in Hatfield Township

I was debating on posting but thought I wish I would have seen a post like this before I went to Urban L. My stylist was Kirsten who was super sweet and pleasant to spend my appointment with but who destroyed my hair. She “low lighted” my hair and gave me a root shadow. I left with hair that looked the exact same before my appointment and after. I also had to go to my dermatologist for chemical burns on my scalp that resulted in hair loss. I told her I wanted a straight blunt cut with some layers throughout and I got a V shaped haircut that looked like a pair of stairs. I am getting married soon and had to go back to my old salon to fix what she did. This included having to cut off 4 inches of my hair 6 months before my wedding. So sad because all the good reviews and I left with months of recovery ahead of me to correct this.

Reply: I appreciate your response and understood that she was learning. We have all had to learn a new skill at some point. I think there needs to be more supervision on your apprentices then because they should have enough guidance not to chemically burn...

First visit at Lindsey’s brand new salon, so so impressed! She’s been doing my hair for almost 10 years! She has always been able to transform my hair just as I want it! I’m so happy she has been able to get into her own salon. She is SO talented at what she does. I’ve been referring people to her for years! I can’t wait to tell everyone about her new salon! It’s beautiful inside. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Urban L is so bright, fresh, chic, and clean! Lindsey, the owner, is so professional and kind to everyone. She’s the one who recommended I color my hair strawberry years ago because she could tell it would look amazing, so I finally did it and I love it! She has an eye for detail; you can tell by her work and how amazing her new salon has turned out!

Lauren is my hair stylist and she works magic, I swear! I always just give her a general idea of what I want and I’m never disappointed.
