Merry Place — Attraction in Haverford Township

I grew up here before they fancied it up and I didnt like the new paved path and a couple other stuff they did at first, but now having kids and my dogs I totally see why they did it. This is a cute little playground. Could definitely use installation of more advanced playground equipment. -Plenty of stuff for a baby-toddler and an obvious hot spot for teens because of the skateboard park. However there is no intermediate play equipment or sliding board for school aged children. Otherwise, a well groomed park with ample acreage. Nice grass for a picnic. I love this park! It’s perfect for my 2 year old. He loves playing on the playground equipment, in the sandbox area, and running around on the wooden play area. It’s really cool that they have a skatepark, tennis court, a giant gazebo with picnic tables, a volleyball net, AND a tiny library cubby where you can give/take books!
